Oh good another port of an old 360 era game. Guessing this is the type of 3rd party we were promised? Where's Ghost Recon? or Mass Effect? Always Nintendo's problem, hopefully one day they will address it. Would love to see The Witcher 3 on switch, but guess I must be dreaming too hard.
Without reading the article, two things come to mind. Portability and HD Rumble
I heard that the Wii u version is just blank second screen, so no inventory or map. Effectively will be exactly the same issues on both versions...
“We realized that having something on the GamePad and looking back and forth between the TV screen and the GamePad actually disrupts the gameplay, and the concentration that the game player may be experiencing. You have your car’s GPS system on your dash. If you had it down in your lap, you’re going to get into an accident! Stil...
Well called, hope you're right and the NX will be at least half good
I can tell the hate pot has already passed boiling, but I could've sworn I read elsewhere that the "disappointment" he's referring to, was to do with the game not releasing anytime soon. I.e. Fans would want the game ASAP, whereas it's likely not to be released until next Xmas 2016.... Stupid statement though, show us the goddamn game!!!! Sick of nintendos consistent crap lately. Yeah they make good games, every 5-6 years, but it's just not enough! Not got a lot of ...
No difference from the screens shown, needs 1080p images to tell. Tlou was overhyped from the beginning, seems the hype for the "remastered" version is even greater...
Should've been a game, it's for a game console at the end of the day. If you make a video game, you should be able to play it throughout. The odd cutscene to progress the story is fine obviously, but the fact that most of of this 'video game' is cutscenes, makes it more of a movie than a game. Therefore the low scores. Don't be surprised if QD change their strategy next game they make.
Because everyone has wanted a new IP from Nintendo for a long time! Maybe that's what they meant?
Completely agree. How can a stealth game not have a crouch button in this day and age. I always thought that AC could do with a proper cover system.
In my opinion, AC2 was the best so far. The ability to carry out assassinations without being seen throughout was rewarding. AC3 is dire for that.
If you read the article it sounds like they haven't even tried to develop for the Wii U. They clearly haven't got any dev kits and the way they say they had an "early look" suggests they didn't think it was worth all the extra work to port this title to the Wii U. They've obviously already done some dev work on the PS/360 versions and havent got the man power/skill to develop with a new console at the same time. So maybe they're not the sort to BS, but it really...
It totally is. Should be the definitive version!
Anyway, im interested to see how the killstreaks work with the gamepad in single player online/campaign. I want to control the Predator (or similar) on GP screen as though it were the Laptop/Arm screen (in game), that would be sweeeet.
Exactly, I couldn't believe what I was reading! After all that time defending second screen gameplay and proving it can work in some games, they abandon it and almost slag it off as though it was someone else's idea all along?! Confusing message for consumers who invested in the Wii U for this Zelda game...
