This is gonna be EPIC!
:D :D :D
Agreed. I do seem to remember at the beginning it was coming for "last-gen" as well, although I could be wrong.
A lot of great stuff coming from October, through 2015. Enough great looking stuff to last a couple of years with my game time.
I hope it's the case as well. I'm currently playing Watch_Dogs, and I can't help but feel it would have been a better game if it was only on PC, PS4, and XONE.
Development teams aim to get the same experience on all platforms, if not the same, then as close as they can get.
When I hear developers talk about ONLY developing for the new hardware they talk about how good it is and how free they are.
Although I am enjoying Watch_Dogs,...
:D
When it comes to consoles, I am currently playing Watch_Dogs on PS4.
I am enjoying it.
Yet, after seeing The Witcher, AC Unity, The Division, among others... I am certain now that Watch_Dogs is no "next-gen" title(keep in mind... I am still enjoying it).
That Unity multi-player, and solo player experience from E3 looked awesome.
As did The Witcher. I am very excited for all of these...
and Bloodborne. :D

:D :D :D
Looks like 2015 was the clear cut winner to me.
Gamer's should be happy. The "next-gen" is looking great.
So... I'm really looking forward to this. :)
Ya, I'm waiting to see how it all ties together before I would think along those lines.
Once Dark Souls 2 and the 3 DLC's are together to form one game...
It may just be something that is remembered. Even revered the way the original(s) is.
Maybe even more so once it's all and and done.
I know one thing for sure, I'll be playing as long as my health permits. :)
Very true, unless it's an open world game that is constantly evolving, how many hours do we really want to spend in the same game?
The are other worlds that need to be explored(especially come October).
mmmmm October.
It may become that for me as well, but I doubt it.
I only play in short half hour to an hour spurts right now because I don't have the time. So, getting in, doing a mission or two and getting out.
I think that will keep it fresh for me as opposed to binge playing, as I did with Dark Souls 2, as I had more time when that was released.
I just finished ACT 1 of Watch_Dogs last night. Having more fun then when I started and look forward to playing m...
NOT AT ALL for me personally. Far from "ruined".
Solid game that is fun to play does not add up to ruined in my books.
I get somewhat hyped for games... like I'm currently hopping on the "Project Beast" hype train... because I wanna.
That being said, I'll temper my own hype as usual, while watching the media, and the so called media spin tales with no actual value.
Dark Souls series is over rated when it comes to difficulty. Persistence is key to those games. With no map, and no markers(or actual lines on the ground showing you where to go), it takes time and patience... persistence to beat those games.
When I had finished my first run of Dark Souls 2, I checked my death count... 157 deaths.
I bet I died more times finishing Mario World 2.
It's marketing for the most part, along with no map and mar...
Agreed. I'm having fun with it. I couldn't figure my way up to one of the towers. Hacked a crane, lowered it, drove onto it. Raised the crane and drove off it over onto the building. That was pretty neat.
There is nothing "new" that is blowing me away, but how well it is put together is impressive.
Enjoyable game. Easily an 8 out of 10 for me if I had to rate it.
ps... I'm playing on PS4.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that I've played it more, it is far from restrictive. It was just the way the cover system worked in the opening mission.
Now that I'm out in Chicago a little bit I'm finding it fascinating. Finding gang hideouts and infiltrating them has been one of the highlights so far. Really cool how it can be approached in different ways. Same goes for the CtoS towers and stations.
I still think it won't be remember as the first big "next-gen&qu...
So far I feel the same. Only 2.4% done mind you, but it doesn't feel "free" to me in ways. I think its the cover system.
Also, the driving feels strange, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. There is so much to do as I spent most of my first couple hours looking at the progression wheel and my phone etc.
It will be a fun game to make my way through, and it looks beautiful.
Aside from that, it's not the "next gen" game that people will r...
Well thought out remark sir, and I agree.
Most if not all games are repetitive to a certain degree... and a lot of them include dying over and over until the player gets it right... Mario... Link... anyone?
The Souls games a great because of the many varied ways you can play, and how any build is viable based on the players skill. This equals replay value in my opinion.
Games by nature... are repetitive. The way to change the game is by doing...
NO it is not a problem.
HYPED!
I can't help it.
It must be in my blood.
