I was paying £45 for NES games, about £40 for PS1 games, largely the prices remained similar for PS2. Went up around PS3 times. Factoring inflation into the mix, games are cheaper.
The only time you payed under 30 RRP were with Amiga//ST/PC and 8 Bit microcomputers, I got some spectrum games for £1.99.
The Order 1886 was an original IP with the structure built from the ground up. I don’t think length of a game equates to quality, the lack of quality was in the game itself, it was a boring game. In fact when it comes to full price being charged by Nintendo I think far more original work has gone into Zelda’s remake than New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. The point is Nintendo has always charged a high entry fee for remakes/remasters, this is not an attack on the company’s obvious talent elsewher...
Customisable stairs!
Indeed he does, he looks like that character from the PS2 Mattix game.
You’re the only one who seems to care about platform. I think the concerns and questions seem legitimate. I look forward to trying this but waiting on the other entries seems sensible.
Maybe Death Stranding won’t be good, that does not make Konami right, it is an experiment. Konami have published a lot of terrible shit outside of Kojima’s stuff in recent times .
The bizarre thing about Kojima as he is a good game designer and not an amazing story teller. But focuses so much on the latter to the detriment of the former. Which is better than David Cage who is a bad designer, story teller and seemingly a bad person too.
The highlight of Sunshine were the retro stages and the atmosphere, the design was otherwise really rough by Nintendo’s standards. The graffiti spraying was just a virtual community service punishment.
It’s better than most of the character designs in Mortal Kombat regardless.
I am a fan of yours and I am delighted!
No. It has never been rereleased to my knowledge. Certainly not remastered.
People like to press buttons, screens rather than converse. The upvote and downvote system is arbitrary.
Spider-Man is not a sequel. There have been other spider-man games but there is no relation or connection other than a license. But sequels are fine. I’d have liked more new IPs on every console. Horizon being one of the highlights.
As someone who has owned all of Sony’s consoles. PS Now is borderline unusable.
PSNow is horrible presently.
I love Nintendo. They make and made some of the best ever games. I’ve owned every major Nintendo console. I have played BotW. There is so much to like about it, some things are stunning. But... some of the world leaves me hollow, the surface is gorgeous, it just does not feel like much is underneath. The dungeons always gave Zelda’s world heart, it is a shame because the feeling of being outdoors is so rich. This game may rectify all of that.
I think one would prefer an unbiased site, which appears to be the point of the comment.
Keane has done a couple of other cyberpunk themed movies. Johnny Mnemonic and A Scanner Darkly.
When one makes an expensive game that’s a pretty crucial incentive, who would they be harming by doing this? As a PS4 player primarily for big third party titles, I am happy to jump on the pc version too at a later date. Also it is more likely the game will he preserved easily beyond a generation.
Without massive investment these titles simply would not exist.
There are myriad other benefits from modding to pushing the specs.
Mildly excited when I read the article then I checked the photos...hideous.
But you can sell them for more surely?
