I have about twenty minutes of audio up from my interview with Jason (same event, it is posted here somewhere), from what he answers about PC gaming and getting things certified for console, they are ok with Xbox, but PC is definitely their platform. Which makes sense if you look at their experience and the fact they can sell PC games on Steam and keep the whole thing instead of cutting Microsoft in.
Hope that chip can come back at ATI. Not that I am fanboying, but look at what happens when AMD doesn't have a good laptop CPU to put out? We wait almost a year for Calpella platform. The last thing we need is a market where Intel makes CPUs, Nvidia makes Mobile Internet Device / Smart Phone GPU, and ATI makes PC GPU. Releases would take for ever, and prices would just float at near launch rates for what would seem interminable.
I am thrilled by any Total War Game, but I hope that this one launches with rock solid performance and well-balanced multiplayer. By the time everything was working well the lion's share of the community had moved on. Had Empire launched successfully, we might still have a huge community for it.
Hi 357, remember to keep you save games from the first ME cause you will be able to import them.
