Try reading the whole article, not just the first line. They're having difficulty keeping up supply of both versions of Kinect 2 so they're just going to make the Xbox One version along with the Kinect Adapter For Windows so it's easier for both gamers and devs to get hold of it. It makes more sense to just manufacture 1 version than 2 separate versions when they're identical devices with just minor cosmetic differences and a different connection. (Which the adapter takes care...
This is a reply to kstap33 because they don't have a "reply" under their comment for some reason. Yeah, when EA first announced it last year as just EA SPORTS PGA Tour they said this:
“Our intention is to still support [motion controls] – whether it be the Move for Sony or the Kinect for Microsoft. That will be a way that you can play the game.”
There are some cool ID@Xbox Kinect 2 games coming. (And a few already released.) Plus EA SPORTS Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. I'm hoping Microsoft themselves announce big 1st party Kinct 2 games at E3 though.
It's probably going to be around that price since it's an ID@Xbox game and the devs are just 2 guys. It's unlikely they'll charge the high-end of download-only game prices.
I think there are going to be loads more announced though because there are about 6 Kinect studios (Microsoft Studios) that haven't revealed their games yet (or haven't revealed their Kinect 2 games at least for a couple of them like Good Sc...
Yeah, I'm sort of hoping that the reason Microsoft have only released 3 of their own Kinect 2 games so far is they've held the rest back to make them at least compatible with the Fortaleza Glasses.

Here is the actual code from the Xbox One version that was disabled just like the PC version, so this is what the graphics settings chould actually be. Unfortunately it can't be unlocked like the PC version as users obviously can't modify Xbox One games' code themselves. It's using the codename "Durango" for Xbox One and the settings that say "pc" mean th...
Hackers found extra code in both the Xbox One and PC versions for enhanced graphics including 1080p in the Xbox One version. They released a hack for the PC version that let you unlock the better graphics. (Obviously they couldn't for the Xbox One version as you can't download unofficial patches on Xbox One.) Also the Xbox One version was going to use the cloud for things like AI and physics.
The PS4 can't handle Assassins Creed at 1080p 60fps and the only proof of Ubisoft dumbing down any game's graphics for parity is Watch Dogs and that was the PC and Xbox One versions dumbed down IN FAVOUR of the PS4!
What do you mean how do you use Kinect 2 with it? You just aim with your hand/finger(s), it's not hard, there are plenty of Kinect 1 games that have accurate aiming already and Kinect Sports Rivals has accurate aiming in Target Shooting. (If it's not accurate for you then you're probably playing it wrong and flailing your arm around, all you have to do is subtly move your hand and wrist like you're actually aiming a gun and barely move your arm, it tracks the angle your hand i...

Developers are making Kinect For Windows v2 games and apps as well as Kinect 2 games for Xbox One.
