Jeez, I had never even considered a SNES remaster. I think with updated graphics and mechanics, it would work really well on the 3DS!
100% agree. That's probably one of my biggest gripes with this game, is that it's lacking in Camelot's trademark personality. No wacky intro, no fun tournament championship animations. It just feels a little hollow, and that's a real shame.
As long as they deliver the goods, Ubisoft can justify bringing Odyssey out so shortly after Origins. The more I hear, the more I'm convinced that it won't feel too soon!
I'm starting to feel legitimately bad for Microsoft, they could really use a win. Hopefully they'll pull something out of their hat at E3.
Hopefully the community response has been loud and disgruntled enough to really shake Bungie from the way they've sleepwalked through things so far. They've lost so much goodwill already, they can ill afford another setback.
Sounds like you have found the better side of Sea of Thieves, and that's awesome. I am hopeful that the support of players like yourself will keep things going strong, and that the influx of eventual content will change the minds of everyone else, myself included.
I want this game to succeed, I really do. I love Rare, I grew up with that studio, and as you have said, the foundation is strong. I just feel underwhelmed by what surrounds it, as presently constituted. All g...
Fair call. I was probably generalising a bit too broadly on that one, there. Though it's harrowing to think that the game I anointed as Rare's best on Xbox... was mostly handled by others.
Legitimately did not know Watchdogs had been released on Wii U until you brought it up. Something about that concept feels wrong, somehow.
That phrasing right there is stellar.
Exquisite storytelling. It's an absolute tragedy how the wrong people are punished on YouTube, and with the new monetisation policies put in place, this is just as true today as it was then.
This is a fun piece. I definitely agree with #1, though I hadn't thought of it that way until you pointed it out.
This is an excellent headline.
My biggest regret in this article is not describing Squall as a 'solitary jerkass'. That is absolutely fantastic!
This article is wonderfully good fun. :)
Very well said. When it comes down to it, these tropes do exist for a reason - and as long as they are able to apply it in a way that is meaningful, it can breathe new life into otherwise tired stereotypes.
It really begs the question of when is something "so bad, it's good"? Sometimes intentionally cheesy dialogue suits the game or genre quite well. I dig the examples you cited - House of the Dead in particular has always been at the forefront of this.
Absolutely. They've all got some gems on offer, it's such a shame that for the Wii U and Vita in particular, there's just not enough available.
