I actually cried with laughter at that last part, seriously funny.
I remember reading a while back about raytracing becoming integrated into gaming and some of the difficulties involved, it looks like its still in its infancy but a nice demo nonetheless.
bears in tutu's .it can only be tekken!
It was the first jrpg I played and for me probably the best game I've played. such a shame no one makes games like that anymore.
I really like the design and look of dragon's dogma. in fact I prefer it to skyrim.
I agree with her ,we need GOOD exciting games for mature audiences and start looking at other industries like the movies as influence for bringing more potential to games.
looks fantastic
one of the most important things within a game for me.
new super mario brothers looked and played fine for me when I used it on the 3ds.in fact comparing to the ds lite it was a better experience as the buttons were better placed and felt more responsive, coupled with the 3ds being a bigger unit that didn't cramp my hands up so much ,I won't be going back to the ds.
the colour problem that was reported hasn't been an issue for me.
I don't necessarily think that its the fact that people are too stupid to learn how to solve all their pc problems ,in a large number of cases its probably cos they don't have the time or expense to do it. or maybe they simply don't want to spend all their free time fixing things before they actually get around to enjoying a game.
some of the captions for the pictures made me lol.
"every year, 27 million people pass through these hallowed corridors. Here are seven of them." :D
not quite the same scale as london or tokyo!
I think this game could be the hidden gem in the launch line up that most people overlook.
bit confused that the reviewer said the 3d isn't that great, I read in previews that it adds more depth to the gameplay by giving you a better perception of the various levels of height?
haha! i'm gonna have to remember to check cnn in the future for more game review lols.
tbph some of those twitter comments sound a little stupid.
"No homebrew on the 3DS?" - errr what!? of course there is no homebrew for it,duh its only just been released.
"analogue nub sounds slightly crap" - its not important what it sounds like, what's important is how it works.
some people that are complaining about the 3d might not even be looking at the screen correctly ,they could be holding it at the ...
it's gonna be tough for the ngp and I don't think sony will out sell nintendo, they'll most likely lose out in any competitive price wars by putting the console price up too high. if nintendo can hold onto the markets which it gained with the ds then its gonna be plain sailing.
heh yea, to be honest i'm looking forward to a day when game plots ,scripts and narratives are on par with award winning films but at the moment its far far from that.
games seem to be lacking in artistry , ingenuity ,deep complexity , realistic emotional content. compared to oscar winning films that is imo.
in terms of sim realism for ps3; f1 2010.
wrc is the only rally alternative although I am certainly hoping that the rally experience in gt5 will be far more superior.
I bet there is someone out there who gets at least twice as excited as that!
that's disappointing, as it did look quite promising...
the destructiod one was worse ,the guy was basically pissed off as he thought it was like a michael bay film lol. the gamespot was a bit of a poor review too, it might not be great but there review was a low low mark. resident evil 4 was a watershed moment, its when the game made greater steps towards the action genre,it seems kind of inevitable this is where its going to end up after the last 2. only question is where do they go next?
