This is probably my favourite game this year, abselutely breathtaking.
Even though i loved the ost of Splatoon and Nier, the best soundtrack of 2017 is by far Xenoblade Chronicles 2 imo,

Perfect scores... for now. Just like with Botw, i'm sure the Nintendo haters are patiently waiting for a bad review it to get put out, so that they can steal the points that it makes and then further use those point in defense of how "overrated" the game is. XD
Never thought Nintendo would outdo themselves with what they did in Botw, but here we are. BIG congratulations to Nintendo. Seeing how excellent and diverse their games have been this year, from the likes of ARMS to Splatooni. I truly can't wait to jump into 2018. Fire Emblem, Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon... Switch is shaping up to be my favourite console og all time.
Nintendo allready confirmed that it's not being developed by Retro Studios (Metroid Prime 4). A new Donkey Kong would be more likely, however as far as 2D platformers go we allready have Yoshi and Kirby Scheduled for Switch in 2018. Not to mention that this would be Retro's third DKC game; you'd expect them to speed up development by now... I'm crossing my fingers for a new IP or a new entry in another Nintendo franchise!
Still curious about the game Retro Studios has been working on since 2014.
Smash has way more content then most other fighting games and didn't need any updates (I can't belive that releasing a finished game is considered a achivement by todays standards) and it released with a rooster of over 50 characters. It doesn't justify the price tag of the few DLC characters it has, but I really wouldn't compare it to other fighting games. Imo, SSB does DLC way better then games like this and Street fighter

Being outranked by garbage doesn't seem very bright in regards to games on other platforms. I'll agree with you on that last one though. If Xenoblade Chronicles 2 end up beings nearly as good as the first one, then it'll be one of the main reasons why Switch has my favoured lineup of games this year.

Best game of all time? Probably not. Best game this gen? Heck yeah!
I still have no idea how this game could turn out better then Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and X. Masterpieces.
