Ah, good. Perhaps Bigbird and Mickey will join Tiger for a round of poorly controlled golf.
Agreed. The rest are absolutely ridiculous concepts. Cost drives product design, and all of the other concepts would be absurdly expensive and impractical to manufacture.
The only glitch I have experienced is in the castle in Syria when Chloe mentions that she feels a draft and you move toward the wall and the triangle indicator is supposed to appear. I had to restart the game several times and hammer on the triangle button to finally trigger the cut scene, and I still did not see the triangle indicator.
It was weird.
Recently I read an article on N4G regarding how NaughtyDog was just a few days from going gold when they disco...
What the hell are you talking about? Liberty City in GTA IV was nothing like Liberty City in GTA III. Rockstar can do whatever they want with their game.
"Direct feed"? Direct from what, my ass? Thankfully you can make out enough detail to see that there is a lot to be excited about.
Imagine if a Forza pack was announced featuring all the previous games in the series with an upgraded game engine and more cars, except Turn 10 "forgot" to include race wheel support. People would be pissed, and rightly so.
That's how I feel about the lack of invert aim in the Splinter Cell trilogy collection. It's an inexcusable oversight.
Wow, he really takes retirement seriously.
I thought this rumor was bullshit, and I was right.
Kinect is a solution to a problem that does not exist.
Don't forget what they did to the Indiana Jones game that was supposed to be released on the 360 and PS3.
Violence is censored, not sex. Completely the opposite of the United States.
Companies make the consoles as cheaply as possible, and the ridiculously complex and artistic designs that are proposed will never even approach the final look of the product as they are just too expensive and/or impractical to make.
That said, there are often some cool designs that do have some element of practicality to them.
I have every confidence that ND will use all the feedback from the beta to fine tune the final game to perfection. They did the same with the last game.
If the movement speed stays in the final game, it's something I can get used to. I will just have to put more time into the beta, I suppose.
I still can't get used to the "walking" speed of the characters. It seems so slow.
...or wait until someone scans it and posts it on the Internet.
That is exactly what I came here to post. It takes time and money, things that are not in infinite supply, to add these "features" to a game. Resources that are already stretched thin as it is.
Remember that the next time you play a game that was rushed to meet a release date as you wonder to yourself why the studio couldn't put more time or effort into the core game.
Clicking "Disagree" means you actually agree with my comment.
Exactly. Whomever wrote this "article" is completely uninformed.
Clicking "Disagree" will confirm that you are a homosexual.
I recall an article that talked about the incredible water technology that Naughty Dog developed and how the tech actually goes back as far as the first game, how they wanted to use it in various parts of Drake's Fortune (there were plans to feature a water/swimming level in the old Nazi bunker, apparently) but they just didn't have the time to develop the ideas properly.
There's always a first time.
Yeah, and how many of those 60 million are still running and not sitting in a landfill?
