Wow… you can’t be serious? Did you ever play TLoU Part 2? Because if you had you’d know the gameplay innovation/change was definitely there!
Motion matching Tech (which other devs have used as well) but none to the quality and level of detail that Naughty Dog has showcased and delivered.
The animation system on display here, thanks to the motion matching technology, along with the talent at ND (looking at the core base gameplay from the original game) ex...
Oh my bad haha. Sorry!
Yeah, that’s one thing that really surprised me too. Part 2’s facial animations were truly (are still) incredible! But after seeing that torture scene, those facial animations, it just heightens the emotions that Joel has (you feel everything he’s feeling in that very moment, those seconds as time is ticking away all the more) and for that guy he’s torturing, at least for me it does haha. Part 1 will really make every scene, line of dialogue and emotion come to the surface in a way that’s all...
😂 love that, brother!
Bill - “Don’t get killed up there!”
Ellie - Thanks, Bill!
😂😂😂 They still have me laughing from their banter. I love it!
Man…Bill’s model really does impressive me, the level of detail and just how lifelike he looks! Pretty remarkable.
Stunningly awesome, epic, beautiful looking artwork!
I’m so ready to be a badass God again😊🪓…ok, and a father too, I guess🤷🏼♂️Lol.
I can’t wait for us all to enjoy this one!
Are you referring to the Max Payne that Rockstar did years back on PS3 (and I assume that also came to PC, as you mentioned?) I absolutely loved that bullet time! But also just the gameplay and brutality of it all was so awesome! Wish we could’ve gotten another game.
Oh me too. With EA nowhere to be seen, the better off EVERYONE & EVERYTHING is!
Facts!
Lol, it’s ok. I’m right there with you on this. I don’t want to hear this is our biggest world we’ve ever made from any game dev when they’re not making sure the world (s) they’re creating on these new consoles aren’t taking advance of what’s possible, in terms of more complex programming for Ai on npc’s in these newer open worlds, but also making the worlds themselves more dense, alive and lived in in ways we’ve never seen before, again, thanks to new hardware and devs thinking outside the ...
Oh…how God of War left me in awe of its combat mechanics🤯 And throwing that 🪓 again and again, NEVER gets old😊 Never have I felt more like a complete an utter badass lol. Pardon my language. Well, come to think of it, maybe when I played as Joel in Last of Us, but idk, that’s up for debate haha!
Nod to Control, that has fun combat mechanics.
Lol. What kind of silly reply is this?
@darthv12 said “I will remain cautiously optimistic” which isn’t a bad thing, knowing Bethesda, their past work on games, and the state in which their games have continued to release in.
Lol, yes, let’s hope so.
Yeah, some of that footage has me in disbelief. That lighting really is a good few notches up from Part 2, no doubt about it!
And that barn scene (which was released (shown early in the first 20 mins of the game) as chaos starts to happen as you travel in the car, that really comparing PS4 remastered I believe it was to PS5) the fire and building destruction and modeling was really just fantastic.
Small nitpick, there’s a pool table later in the game an...
Yeah, that difference between Uncharted 1 & The Last of Us really is absolutely incredible basically in every area of game development, really. The team went from U1 to the generational leap (in almost every level) Uncharted 2!🤯 than to Uncharted 3, which while my least favorite story wise, still packed a technical marvel of set piece moments (that pushed the envelope visually and other games still can’t top) and all of that lead to the absolutely stunning results of one of the fi...
I really do appreciate your feedback, and you reading all of that🙏🏼Thanks man! I’ll look into pitching it to someone, somehow! Haha.
I agree, an awful and disgusting business decision.
And than with rumors of a PS5 Pro in the not too distant future (not sure how true those rumors are) but if so, how much more would that cost?
Smh.
And nowadays you can’t even get one of the consoles, let alone many “Exclusive” games for that said console. Well, either really at the present time.
But for the price to increase on the PS5 is just insane!!!
Nice! Really exciting for this and what the future holds for this new VR gaming experience from Sony and their devs.
Horizon: Call of the Mountain, whenever it’s your time, I’ll be ready!😄
Right.
