Not directly related to this game but a few days ago the CEO of Square Enix mentioned in an interview that "their goal is to go multiplatform, for example mobile titles would be released also on PS Vita or PS4. Their (mobile) teams are using Unity more and more, which should make it easier."

Since Square Enix's Gunslinger Stratos is being ported from arcades to PC, I guess this may also follow the suit or be ported to consoles later.
Dolphin can also make any 4:3 game widescreen (real widescreen not stretched).
