"What a load of rubbish"
"People like you"
"desperately trying to create hypothetical situations"
Don't pretend to have the moral high ground. Also deflection- "first-world problems aren't exactly important" is exactly how people admit there's a potential problem but for partisan reasons, yet somehow simultaneously refu...
Yet these same people are often the most concerned about Cloud gaming.
Good for you, those extra DS1 my parents got us had a lot of use on the PS1 & PS2. There are many people, such as large families, that would relish the opportunity to save some money for what they view as virtually the same thing.
It's nice for people to not have to needlessly repurchase virtually the same thing, especially when multiples are required & it's a frequent change.
People make the same complaints when phones change their ports...
I assumed it was Tim, iirc, something about him hacking the Justice League teleporter.
Not seeing the same kind of hate for Miles Morales in Spider-Man & he's a much newer character than Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, etc.
Well they had almost an entire tv series called Gotham without Batman.
They're thinking big picture. Potential revenue. Xcloud. Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, etc.
You've never heard a mother say PlayBox? Or refer to the wrong console?
People are hateful creatures, god I hate them.
The same could be said about you.
What? Epic has been incredibly vocal about the standard, especially on PC in defiance of Steam, which is why they created their own Store & charge 12% to developers instead of 30% like Valve does.
To Epic's eyes, iOS is a PC-like general service platform, much like Windows(I'm sure you've heard the phrase "there's an app for that"), & believe that Apple has disproportionate influence over the platform at the expense of competition, develop...
@lnfiniteLoop, no Sony Interactive Entertainment as a whole is their most profitable department, less than a quarter of their revenue comes from console sales & that's not considering R&D and manufacturing- the profit margins aren't great.
You can easily find statements by Epic about why they're going after Apple, not consoles.
To put it very simply, business model. iOS is a generalised platform used by hundreds of millions of people, very similar to Windows in the big picture.
Microsoft Windows has many limitations forced upon it to make it more competitor friendly, consumer friendly & to prevent it from stifling innovation.
Gaming Consoles on the flip side are ...
Wasn't Steve Jobs a notoriously greedy, controlling arsehole?
That's for the courts to decide whether iOS is large enough that it presents its own unique market- or whether it's just part of the larger mobile market with Android- in which case it's still a clear Duopoly with price fixing involved.
You sound like a vindictive 12 year old incapable of comprehending anything beyond ABC logic.
It's not a boxing match & if you knew the first thing about antitrust law, you'd know that Epic's claims are potentially credible.
When monopolies & duopolies form, ABC logic no longer applies to them, they aren't individual people but mega organisations with an imbalance of power & influence, governments will frequently intervene if...
Is water wet though? I mean, it certainly makes things wet. What is wetness? Being covered by liquid I suppose, does water cover itself? I need more time to reflect on this.
Of course it's propaganda, as was the original commercial that it was mocking. All commercials in general have an agenda.
@Chevalier
"When did gaming become a necessity to live?"
No one said it was necessity.
"1st world problems right?"
Yes, &? A problem is a problem, if it can be addressed, why not? We are humans, we spent millions of years evolving the ability to multitask- to be able to do, think & address more than one thing at once.
"Do you guys also want Xbox to bring back the $20 adapter for the 3....
