Really? because when reviewers gave MOH scores hovering around 7, all the fanboys were in a rage and claimed that the reviewers didn't give the game a chance. Now we've got the other camp that says reviewers give artificially high scores to hyped up games.
Which one is it n4g? can't have it both ways.
Wow. As of now, five of you actually agree with this idiotic comment?
How can this be anything else but trolling? The game hasn't even come out yet and this kid is talking 2/5..
Ah well, one less person to have to worry about come November 9th
This is the New COD Black Ops Zombie mode
Sorry, I don't consider it rewarding in morrowind to have to walk on foot for 20 minutes just to get from point A to point B. I don't have enough time in my schedule to justify walking around aimlessly in a simulated world for hours at a time just to get quests done.
Regardless, the quick travel feature was optional in Oblivion. You like wasting your life walking around even after you explored the various locations? go for it, no one is stopping you.
Have to respectfully disagree with that one. Just because you didn't like Fallout doesn't mean it was a "Oblivion with guns" The quests, general gameplay, and especially VATS which added an RPG element to the game made Fallout 3 a great stand alone game.
Yep, just keep throwing around the insults.. makes you sound really intelligent.
If you bothered to read most of the comments here, its pretty obvious that the guy doesn't even have the game, therefore his review is worthless, regardless of the overall ACTUAL quality of the game.
Hey! now I know where to avoid when it comes to reviews! thanks Kombo!
Even though it was explicitly stated earlier in the year that Bethesda doesn't not want TES IV to be a MMMO, Zenimax is a completely different story. After the wild success of other MMO's, I'm sure Zenimax smells blood in the water. I for one wouldn't touch a MMO ES.
I really hope this game does well. I enjoyed the PS2 versions quite a lot.
I fear, however, that due to multiple delays, game reviewers will not be kind to the game. The level of scrutiny this game will experience will be like no other game thus far.
I don't believe the game deserved a 10/10. I never said I did. The fact of the matter is, that MW2 is not a terrible game. No one can say so. The fact of the matter is that at the very least, it could be considered an above average shooter that has several flaws.
Most of the people who are on here act as though the game didn't even deserve to be published. They also love to act smug and superior since they are the vocal minority when it comes to the overall opinion of the ga...
Look at this trolling shit. My God, its not even close to being witty anymore.
I'm glad you feel superior to all the rest of us who actually derive enjoyment from the Call of Duty Series. While I'm online come November, having a great time with my buddies, you can be rest assured that you are one of the "smart" ones.
Bubbles up my good man.
When something, ANYTHING, gets too popular you have this backlash within a few months of release.
Suddenly it becomes cool to hate on something that's mainstream.
Thats just ridiculous. The series itself is respected almost universally. Perhaps Modern Warfare 2 disappointed some, but the generalities your spewing make no sense.
@ Gaming Droid
I believe the issue with the game that most have a problem with is the fact that IW attempted the "shotgun" approach when it comes to trying to add content to Call of Duty. Rather than concentrating on a few good improvements to the Multiplayer, we got CRAZY kill streak rewards, using sleight of hand on sniper rifles, one man army m203, and various glitches that made the multiplayer disappointing.
Having said that, I've got to a...
Is this some sort of sad attempt at satire?
I would love to know how you consider WaW a terrible game? The series last foray into the WW2 genre was truly the definitive version. If I had initially played WaW before any other call of duty game (including the first) I would have been blown away. I think most here are simply oversaturated with WWII games and that's why they didn't like it quite as much?
Your right, we should be cautious regarding the overall final quality of the game. I was severely disappointed regarding MOH earlier this week. So you really never know what the final build is going to be like.
having said that, I have VERY high hopes for this game. It looks to be a true Call of Duty Game.
It's going to top COD with a metacritic score hovering around 70? Wow..
So, do you immediately exit the game every time it casts you as opposing forces in MP?
lol fanboy rage is so funny to read.
Do you have some sort of personal stake regarding how good this game does? Does the world end if too many people buy the game?
You don't think it's worth your money? No problem, no one will miss you come November 9th
