Uhhhh Gears 2 came out in 2008 just a few months after Halo 3 and they both sold in the millions. These franchises have released during the same year before there will be no shortage of people buying both games. One for your FPS fix, and the other for your third person, cover based shooter fix. Both games are the best in their genre. I don't believe this story, and I fully expect a Gears 3 announcement at GDC or E3 this year. Mark it down.
I don't get what the point of this article is? We get it you are not into the Gears of War formula, the game is too shallow for you.
