I know! Bloody people and their opinions, lobbing them about the place as if they have some sort of right to do so. It makes me sick. How're we supposed to wade through all this garbage to get to the good stuff, that's what I want to know! Where're the lists!? You know, the Top Tens and all that. Ah well, at least there's a domain we can use to complain about it all eh!

True, COD Ghosts sold just fine. But I don't think anybody was worrying about that anyway particularly. It was always going to sell just fine, even with its marked drop in sales on the previous years' identical iterations. There's quite a monstrous difference in scale between Crackdown and COD regrettably, and while numbers might be fine being lifted from the biggest entertainment franchise in the world (in fact, why not go the whole hog and lift everything - title, cover, the act...

Didn't mean it in a derogatory manner guys, point taken though.

Brix, what I meant by that is that we'd tackled the PS4 games at EGX and then methodically moved onto the Xbox One section. Apologies. ;)

It's weighty for them to be outspoken in such a derogatory manner toward a recently announced machine.

It's not surprising, but would they do better being more reserved? It sort of sounds like;

'Yeah well, we didn't even want your stupid contract anyway, because it's stupid. We'll make our own console, with blackjack... and hookers..'

Not that global companies coming across as children is anything new either...

Well, it's under Opinion Piece, but since it also goes into the features in a roundabouts sort of way, I suppose it is!

Definitely one of those fundamental issues that needed to be solved. Impossibly pleased. Still wish they'd switch up the location of the sticks mind. Heh.

I think the thing that's concerning is that AAA games are increasingly becoming the sole component of a developer, or moreover a publisher's arsenal. There's less equality, for want of a phrase that doesn't make me sound like I'm a suffragette (I'm not). And there's less equality because it's not needed. The figures indicate people want the same contrived garbage year in year out, and suddenly the industry obtains this tunnel vision and starts trying to cut out...

It's a shame because EA have been brilliant in recent years. Even today, I'd say they tend to defecate on the industry less so than perhaps Activision do, or they do it and at least put out decent games. They've got a bunch of great developers and subsequently put out some truly ground breaking titles, but it's tit and tat like this that tars that good work they do, and has much more serious repercussions on integral aspects of game development and the future of end user exper...
