Buy an xbox if youre not sure if it will come to playstation. Lol. That’s what they are hoping you will do.
I would expect both to be $499. If one goes higher than this it could spell doom for that system.
You lost me with “online gaming.” PS could arguably win every other category, but with xbox, the game pass alone wins it this one. There really can be no argument. Oh, and the controller category .... ha ha I guess it depends on what you’re used to, but I think its general consensus that xbox has always had better controllers. I know I prefer the xbox controller over my PS.
Sony has an inferior machine right now. Its not arguable. But that’s ok. Next year, or whenever the new PS comes out, then PSer’s will have their time to gloat.
And the point of this article is....????
How exactly does the outage make XBL look bad?
I was hoping to get some thought-provoking insight, but instead got the usual junk.
"In the meantime as you wait for PSN to be restored, here's a couple suggestions: backlog, do some offline trophy farming, and invite a friend over for local multiplayer on the game of your choice."
Wow, good advice I never would have thought of that. Of course, what the hel...
Seems cool, and I'd actually give a crap if I hadn't finished the game 3 months ago. Seems like you'd wanna fix game bugs and balancing issues a short while after the game comes out, not 6 months later. Oh well, still one of my favorite games.
For starters, try making games without little elf-looking children as the main protagonists. It's like, gaming for pedophiles. Ok, so I exaggerate a little, but the majority of Japanese-made games seem geared to a very young audience. Back when I was fourteen that was ok but now that I'm a little older (alright, a lot older) they don't have the same appeal. Especially rpg's. I can't stand jrpg's. Gotta go western every time.
Great parenting. Way to reinforce the little idiots behavior. "Do the dance, do the dance." It may seem cute in some alternate universe, but your not doing this kid any favors. One day he's going to be an adult and set free into the world. Sweet dreams everyone.
Man, that's old news. I got the exact same pj's, tin and all, from my girlfriend at Christmas last year. (Hope she can find some more this year)
Sure, Sony's marketing of games leaves something to be desired. But I think we forget about the million or two people (speculative) that bought a PS3 soley or mostly for its blu-ray capabilty, and don't care much about its games.
Had this error last Spring. I've had my system for 2 1/2 years and this is the only error message I've had. Would rather have had RROD though. At least they would have fixed that free of charge.
MS isnt stupid. Sure, they couldve put an HD DVD in every xbox or maybe blu ray for that matter, but they would have had to jack up the price and would be in the same boat as Sony. So what do you do if you're MS? Cater to the masses or to the first few adopters of high definition? Well, if you want to make money the answer is obvious. Why do you suppose the Wii is doing so well?? Most people who buy gaming systems aren't as sophisticated as we N4Gers : )
Lets see the actual amount of time spent on line per user. I have both, and download the occasional video or demo from psn, but have yet to actually play a game on line.
I got an Xbox 360 in September 2006 (no rrod yet-knock on wood) In November I got the HD DVD add on to go with my nice Sony XBR tv. Fast forward to 2008 when HD DVD goes under. I still want to watch HD movies, have Netflix, which rents Blu-Rays....you see where I'm going. So in April 2008 I became the owner of a nice shiny PS3. Now if Xbox had come out with an add on blu-ray player I probably would have gone that route. At that time PS3 was the best blu-ray player for the money. Plus ...
