I don't get the idea that resolution and framerate will get worse over the generation. If you look at Halo 3 which isn't even 720p and then look at Halo 4 which is 720p it would be very hard to argue that Halo 4 looks and performs worse the Halo 3. Take GTA IV and GTA V as another great example. GTA IV 720p on Xbox 360 (less so on PS3) compared to GTA V 720p on both Xbox 360 and PS3 with much greater detail and a far larger world.Star Wars Battlefront runs at the same resolution and f...
I knew the second that Ubisoft said that the game was CPU bound that the Xbox One version would have an advantage because it runs faster than the PS4s CPU.
In the article it says the cut scenes are pre-rendered but the cut scenes in Ryse Son of Rome on the Xbox One were pre-recorded, placed on the disc, and then played back when needed as a way to mask loading times. Plenty of companies do this.
It seems people are freaking out over things in there head and not over things that are actually happening. What has Microsoft done to Mojang in the less than 48 hours that they have owned the studio that warrants the hate?
I like how they have what the website said in quotes as if the people from CD Project Red had said it. That's really deceptive. Anyway if they can get 1080p on the Xbox One with a 30fps lock I would be happy if not. I would prefer a 30fps lock.
If you think about it the Cloud will only be doing the calculations in other words its just going to be sending you numbers that say where the pieces are going and the Xbox One will just show it on screen. I shouldn't take up too much bandwidth.
Looks like I'm not getting this on PC. I thought Ubisoft would get it right with this one. Maybe the Division will be the one.
Both next gen versions have screen space reflections :/ http://www.dualshockers.com...
The Xbox One version also looks a little sharper and textures are a little cleaner. When they zoom in on Aiden's first in the first couple of seconds you can see it and when they show the park near the end the trees look kind of blurred on the PS4 version.
60FPS FTW I might get this on my Xbox.
Yeah the textures look better on the Xbox One version. They look slightly blurry on the PS4 version.
I asked the created director, Jonathan Morin, about the next gen version and they will have wind simulation just like the demo. They will also have volumetric fog and water simulation. And all NPCs cloth will be simulated. Screen Space Reflections are also present on each version as well. These are the things I'M really excited to see in action.
https://www.youtube.com/wat... about sums it up.
Kinect has its own Processor. It doesn't take away from the Xbox One CPU. Why do you think it has a fan on the back and vents.
I disagreed because you said "And when the time comes, if it needs 720p/30fps, so be it.". I know you said "If it needs..." but I don't believe that will ever happen based off of trends that have been around for generations.
