I wrote this on a blog awhile ago.

I loved the game, but I had a few complaints. Anything you spend that much time with gets you thinking about what might have been.

Viva Pinata as well as Alan Wake!
Two reasons I bought a 360.

I have over 300 hours invested....but i'll take some gummy bears.
Not many games I get 300 hours out of, nothing to apologize for with me.

That website blows.

Yeah I understood what was implied by 'best', but for me, the 'best' ending wasn't my favorite ending.
I think my favorite part of Heavy Rain was the long conversations I had with friends after we'd all experienced it, talking about the differences along the way in the choices we made.
Well worth the price of admission.

What is the best ending? Isn't that a completely subjective thing in this game?
I wouldn't bet on anyone to make all the 'right' choices on the first playthrough without using a guide.
Too many ways to bugger it up.

I have two theories:
1. Violent
2. Problematic

Bah, all these games are fairly new.

I read it, it's pretty poorly thought out and the reasoning for Sony to be "out of the picture" is the argument made that exclusive games are becoming less and less important.
Cool article, brought back some memories of games in the closet.
I'll probably bust out the Saturn tonight so my son can play Nights and Christmas Nights. (he's 8)
I don't think he's complaining about multi-player modes or players who prefer multi-player.
I think he's complaining that he can't avoid it if he wants to complete a games rewards system and he feels that multi-player can and does take away from the single player experience.
It's easy to call him incompetent, clumsy, or slow, but even if all of the above were true, it boils down to pot//kettle since you don't want him trashing things y...
Agreed. I have no problem with those that want to sue, but for me personally, changing my credit card information and watching it regularly isn't a big deal, something I should do with any fraudulent activity anyways.
I'm in it for the games.

No kidding! Can't wait!
Atlus is the publisher, Sony should buy From Software for those games. :)

I've always been most fond of the Sega Saturn controller.

I know of and use those programs and it's still far more hassle than consoles are.
My PS3 can play PS2 and PS1 games, but so can my PS2 and my PS1, that's not really the point I was getting at.
The point is, consoles can be hooked up and you can play any game on them without anything else, with PC's you have leg-work to do.

I was thinking about this the other day, and consoles win the race because you don't have to fiddle with them to get them to work. I have PC games from DOS all the way to new stuff, but if I want to play an old game it sometimes takes a tremendous amount of messing around just to get it to work, if I can even get it to work at all. Every new Operating system and hardware configuration can potentially screw you on installing and playing older games.
With consoles you jus...
Stop looking at my screen!
I hope it does well, because I got 300-400 hours out of demon's souls and I'd like to see more games like that.
I don't think it will sell well though, something tells me it's still pretty niche.

It's the diablo 3 effect! People are saving pennies for D3 in less than a week!
