Only experience with TBs is with the COD Ghosts-branded Shadows and the Titanfall Ear Force Atlas set. The Atlas are superior but I think these themed headsets seem to sacrifice quality of function for their aesthetic features, at least when you compare them to similarly costed non-themed sets.
Kinect is a great tool, but forcing the price of their package up with supplementary hardware that iterates on something already designated as such in the last console generation was a massive blunder, particularly given the very reasonable and significantly lower price Sony were sending their machines out at. If Microsoft was ever to avoid getting egg on its face with this, more efforts should have gone into subsidising developer engagement with the hardware.
