Tip: If you're gonna recommend a list of games for people, actually play through the games and give your own personal recommendations. Most people KNOW what games were good from the playstation 1 and 2 era, we don't really need a compiled list of what a lot of people seem to recommend. It's lazy journalism and clearly leads to a dull list and a dull article, as the author can't do anything more than simply list the games.
The list isn't even particularly consistent...

Absolutely do not agree with Grand Theft Auto winning game of the year, it was perhaps the best game of the year but it was not the greatest game of the year (if you get what I mean).
Grand Theft Auto 5 was a lot of fun, but The Last of Us was an experience and I really feel it should have won.

Well put, thanks for summing it all up. I find it interesting that no one at Bethesda has tried to deny that the website is real, though perhaps they are just enjoying the free publicity. They must definitely be working on Fallout 4 by now, just whether or not we hear this year is another matter. I'm still hopeful.

The problem is that with a pattern established, if there was any time to set up a fake Fallout 4 website, it'd be for VGX. Still hopeful though.

I appreciate it's in a enclosed case, which leads to crashing. This obviously doesn't mean there's any kind of major issue, I'm confused as to why they do however make them in tiny enclosed cases they are likely to crash in though. I mean, surely there must be some system to keep it ventilated? I realise they want it to look all nice and shiny while keeping it locked away, but there must have been a way to present this without risking it crashing.

This could simply be a mistake from the reporters, I wouldn't be surprised to hear them confuse Minecraft with the no doubt existing rip offs that include hidden charges.

I apologise for my comment before being rather brief, I sort of assumed most people would actually get the point I was making. Clearly not.

First off: I wasn't referring to the power of either console. Not remotely, I'm not sure how you even reached that conclusion.
I'm referring to the fact that a game developed for both generations will never take full advantage of the possibilities of the next gen consoles due to the development process.
It...

This article is entirely pointless without a PS4 comparison, and even then a cross generation game is never gonna take full advantage of the power of PS4/Xbox One.

I've heard the voice controls have worked pretty well even when demoed in some pretty tough environments (lots of background noise). Might have been that Kinect video IGN put out a week or so ago?
Either way, even if this is an issue it's a small one that can be fixed in time.

Surely this simply proves that it power doesn't make the console? The Xbox original came in late, sure it was more powerful but the PS2 had a considerably larger range of titles and as such continued to outsell it.

You can't put any console in an enclosed plastic box and expect it to work, it's just common sense, this is just an article trying to play the Xbox One matter for extra views.
And considering the Xbox One is being properly demoed in various stores and even being toured around the UK for people to try, I somewhat doubt there's any grand issue they are attempting to hide.

In all fairness, while it seems very likely they don't have either console, if you take it as a simple review of how they expect each console to be it's quite interesting (and unlikely to change unless one of the up and coming consoles turns out to not remotely work), particularly coming from a presumably casual gamer side of things, which if anything gives them less bias since they wouldn't likely be fans of either console.
And you can hardly criticise them for calling a...
