I dunno about Biased, but I think opinions rather than reviews get published more often than not. And this is wrong. Some reviewers try to force a game on you by just their personal opinion of how they like certain features.
As readers though, we are as much to blame these days as a lot of us, particularly the casual gamer, take reviews from mainstream sites as gospel without giving the game a chance.

Such an easy pickup-n-play title, fun for all.
Its a fun game , but I think power ups would be a great way to spice it up. After a few games it gets a little boring in my opinion.
I like it, but it can do with a bit of improving so i'm looking forward to whatever Psyonix have in mind.

I'm just glad of its announcement so far. We'll have to wait for winter to hear more I guess.
From a marketing perspective it'd make sense for them to focus very strongly on the psPlus service since the majority of the user base who got their consoles around xmas time last year will be due to renew their subsciption.
So I would expect a big push and reveal of a free title, perhaps a AAA title like "Infamous - second son" , or one that hasn't been released yet, to encourage people to renew their subscriptions.
I prefer to buy a game based on my own likes and dislikes. But review scores are helpful in determining the general consensus of a game.
I mean, I buy a top end smart phone based on preference too... but I still read the reviews and get the over all feel for ones in my price bracket when making the decision.
Day one buy for me too... but in about 2 years no doubt. This is square enix after. I wont be holding my breath for kh3 anytime soon.
