i honestly thought he just wanted to have Raiden asociated with the xbox brand cuz MGS2(Raiden,s 1st apearance)was also on xbox but then they anounced MGS collection on xbox 360 so it could go either way

Theres a large catalog of AAA games released on Consoles that started on PC like Civ,TES,Crysis,The Orange Box,Unreal Tournament,CoD,Battlefield,
Fallout,Command & Conquer,The Sims,Witcher & Deus Ex to name a few.
Nowadays the games on PS3 are more similar to PC games than PS2 games in terms of gameplay & MS went directly for the PC style gameplay with the original Xbox.
