refusing to buy the game based on the assumption it is anything like COD means you are just missing out on an awesome game. I am still playing MOHW to this day. Awesome game, but what makes it great is the awesome community and everyone playing now is really good. By far the most challenging online shooter out there.
Could just watch the Q&A then it will be interesting to see what Ellen Page etc have to say and still avoid the gameplay section. The behind the scenes stuff is really cool gives you an idea of the amount of work that goes into modern games.
Totally sold too but I still want to have a look at how it plays. Will it be like Heavy Rain which was a cross between an interactive movie an a game or will it play more like a traditional third person game with the acting and writing of a movie.
I would love if they had a section that was just to show gameplay but not ruin any of the story.
Was at a Q&A with David Cage before it was super interesting. He really does love his work lol.
Crysis gone in a different direction as the interview states will be a good thing. Don't forget Farcry 1 was also Crytek.
15 years ago there was plenty of violent games and plenty of puzzle, sport and adventure games too just like now.
Fair review. Well done.
What the hell has happened to this game it has gone from looking like a brilliant fun game to just another bland middle of the road title.
Look at this trailer it looked amazing!

Kind of missed the point that developers are dependent on publishers to green-light the games. Publishes are cagey at the moment about new IPs as they want to make their money back (understandably). This way Obsidian can get a project that might struggle to find a publisher out to market giving us more new IPs.
I would sell my granny to get this a day early !
The article has no spoilers other than Joel is a man and Ellie a girl and they meet a guy called Bill. if that's a spoiler you would be better off not reading anything about the game. It is clearly labeled an interview about the last of us what did you expect it to nit talk about the game?
A defining moment for the PS3 alright
Ah cool thats good to know at least it has options to play PVP or PVE sometimes i don't really fancy playing PVP
The good thing about it is that it is CO-OP rather than death matches (The bit i played anyway). It was a lot of fun playing with 5 friends a helicopter drops you into a zone and you have to clear it then get back on board and it takes you to the next section. The sections are random and new ones get added all the time.
Might want to update the title i'm sure you it is meant to say September 2012
Yip no way either company would announce it any more than a few months before release. If they announced it this summer for next Christmas the sales of consoles would drop for a full year and a half as everyone would either wait for the new ones to upgrade or try get a better deal on the current gen when the next gen releases.
The whole article talks about how good the console is, how it has a good line up of launch titles, the hardware is on par with the others and how they like the controller. the only issue they have is that they wish Nintendo released it at the same time as the ps3 and Xbox not at the end if this cycle.
The article is not a hands on preview it is a preview. Previews look forward to the game and inform the reader of what to expect. This article was written after meeting the developers last Wednesday it is not made up of forum rumors. They showed a multiplayer game being played live as time was limited for the meeting.
Star Wars on the NES was insanely good and difficult.
It look nice and solid with some weight to it. Can't wait to get my hands on it.
