Yep, aren't gamers easy to please and easy to understand? EA changes their strategy after everyone b!tches about sequels, gives us decent new IP, and we leave them hanging.

What do you people want?

EA sucks for doing this! Damn them for owning Criterion and supporting Paradise so much.

Well, I can see it now. This game will get released to great reviews, no one will buy it, EA will retreat back to its sequels, and everyone will b!tch about EA not being original.

Gamers say one thing but do the other with their wallets.

Just about everyone who comments on this site has the reading comprehension of a first-grader. You believe everything you read on this site.

Read that article again, no where did any of it say they were going to can NFS. The author just stated Undercover is doing poorly and EA might be making more staff reductions. EA has studios all over the world they could cut staff from. It was the author's own "guess" that NFS was at an end.

Feel free to comment on wha...

gameplayer.com.au is one of the worst gaming web sites out there. The writing is unprofessional and their "fact-checking" is poorly done. Most of their articles are rife with inaccuracies. The writers there make all the other good gaming journalists look bad.

If you want, I can give examples of said bad journalism (such irony).

That said, I feel bad for Aussies when I just bought RB2 today.

I'm amused at your comment and those who agreed with you. Criterion is owned by EA.

Wow, the masses once again show their ignorance. I bet everyone of you just read the article and assumed the author had all his facts straight.

If he had or you had bothered to do a little research, you would have know that EA did not buy id. id approached EA to publish *one and so far only one* title. That IP remains property of id an id is still an independent developer. EA does not own id and there was never discussion of acquisition.

The article also makes allusi...

Is it still cool to bash EA based on nothing but your speculation? I didn't get the memo.

6156d ago 1 agree4 disagreeView comment

Yeah, because titles like Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, Spore, and Warhammer don't mean a damn thing to hardcore gamers.

If you're gonna try to make a point, try to back it up with facts.

People! This is an EA published game! Show me your completely rational and blind EA hate! Don't disappoint me! :)

I would like to read the facts that supposedly establish your arguments. Are there some links you could provide me? Yes? No?

LOL... see! That guy just proved my point.

Even with good news, there always at least one guy that complains. Thanks for being that guy.

My point is that how many people are as logical as you? You're willing to wait to see how the game turns out. Most people are just writing this game off just because EA is involved.

6223d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

EA made this game so I know it's gonna suck even though I haven't seen it with my own eyes or even played it for a second.

Oh, does that sound irrational? Just wait for all the people who will say the same thing after my comment.

In before any comments about this game sucking just because it's from EA.

6228d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

A 9 for Boom Blox? Nice! So where are all the dudes that continually say *all* EA games suck?

6228d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Hey, I know it's cool to bash EA without any facts because it makes you popular online with your "friends" but here's a dose of reality for you.

You say that EA will charge $5 to unlock Burnout Paradise cars. The reality is that Criterion Games has already released the first of four FREE updates (not patches) to Paradise.

In total, the updates will add a new island to drive, more vehicles, motorcycles, new game modes, and night driving. All of this is free....
