My one worry about the grippy surface on the DS4 is that over time these type of surfaces tend to sustain more wear than regular plastic ones. Do you think that this would be the case with the DS4?

Oh really? Have you ever heard of the Crysis franchise? Crysis 1 is superior to Crysis 2 and 3 in almost every way.

As a fan of Halo for over 10 years, I'm going to have to disagree. IMO the story in Halo 4 was trash. The story should have ended at Halo 3, this ridiculous Forerunner conflict feels so forced it's not even funny, they will never be able to make this story as compelling as the Human/Covenant war was if you had read the books.
That's not what I heard from a friend of mine who was at the Gamestop Expo and played both back to back.
While the DS4 will be a huge improvement, I highly doubt it will be better for gaming than the Xbox controller.

Their comments on video games shows just how hilariously uninformed they are. Clearly they haven't played a video game in the last 15 years.
Exactly, I grew up on the first 4 Gran Turismo games, I played the hell out of them. I've also played Gran Turismo 5 and I can honestly tell you that Forza is a better game in almost every way.
Dammit, I really don't want to support Microsoft, but I don't think I can bear missing out on Forza, Halo and Titanfall. This might be the final nail in the coffin for the PS4 for me.

I love them, Halo 2's ending had me going completely nuts for Halo 3. And Half-Life 2 Episode 2's ending has me wanting blood!
I'm all for an ending that get's me pumped up about it's sequel.

I won't believe this until MS themselves say it. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would switch to PS4 if this was the case. I'd heavily consider doing that myself.

Sorry kids, you're not going to get 4k resolution real time in game next generation. The amount of power required to run that is far beyond what our next generation machines will produce.
Of course it's best in sales, there are WAY more people with Xbox 360s than there were 5 years ago when Halo 3 came out, or 2 years ago when Reach came out. They're still riding off of Bungie's success.

That title belongs to Halo 3 (IMO) just because of the multiplayer. Halo 4's story was pretty mediocre in the grand scheme of things.
