You have to run the Calibration in the Settings. You hold the headset in your hand and align it to targets on the screen. It is more difficult to actually do than it describes. The camera is designed to be at 20 inches from the floor. Calibrating will remove a lot of the drift if you get a very good calibration. The PS4 Pro is mainly for those that want the best PSVR experience. If the PS4 Pro just has a higher clock rate and decreased loading times, the gameplay is going to provide the feeling of being smoother and faster. Smoother and faster with some better graphics is all some people need to justify replacing their PS4 with a PS4 Pro. Also, I want to be playing Horizon: Zero Dawn on a PS4 Pro.

This is hope the Spiderman video game can be rebooted to at least the Uncharted 3 level. Treymarch was OK but they are a big reason the Spiderman video games ultimately sucked. The main reason though, was Activision. Insomniac never said they might not be a 2nd party developer for Sony ever again, and they are probably realizing heading into 40 million consoles is not something to trifle with.
There will probably be streams from the Mars rover from NASA this summer (recorded, not live), so it will be like being on Mars while sitting on the recliner in the game room. Walk around with game controller, won't be able to do much but the experience should be very cool. Sony says it will be like a 100-inch 1080p HDTV about 9 feet away, kind of being alone in a movie theater effect. Hopefully, Amazon has more Core pre-orders soon. PS VR will fly off the shelves this fall.

If Sony comes out with Windows 10 drivers, the price point of PS VR will blow the VR market apart. It remains to be proven but having a stereoscopic view equivalent to a 100-inch HDTV at 9 feet, watching movies on the PS VR should feel like having the theater to yourself. That is just one of the early benefits that will happen. Since Sony said they are pricing PS VR to not lose money, it could be the Trojan Horse console into the PC gaming world.

Going with the core, try that with a controller. The bundle does have a game but the camera and two Move controllers are adding most of that $100. Seems like camera/Move bundles will have sales before launch. Wonder how many pre-orders there are? Probably a million total, bundle and core.

No mention about launch titles. For that price, it is going to take a killer launch title to make it sell. If it is just bouncing balls or other VR tech demos, then this is going nowhere. lol, the icon graphic shows PS4 sales going off the chart. Looking at the full chart, the PS4 is in geometric growth now. The Xbone is showing signs of leveling off. This is what happened to the Xbox and the 360 after a couple years, while PS2 and PS 3 did their step-jump increase and rocketed off. PS VR is going to be a system seller, not that the PS4 isn't already one. The next few PS4 AAA and exclusives will kick the after burners in.

This is a good consolidation, merging the entertainment with networks, and centering operations in southern California. The only risk is if the Big One hits and wipes it all out, but that will be bigger problems than video games.
