Having sunk about 15 hours into Dark Souls now, I agree with this review. Demon's Souls was a better game. A lot of people here are getting hung up on "oh he is complaining its hard".
Have a real read of the review again; Plot is sketchy at best, enemies attacking through walls, multiplayer being broken. It is because of ALL of the issues that the review has been given this score in my opinion.

I think some of the comments here are missing the point. Sure, the writer points out that he does dislike Steam (period) which is his opinion. In his article he explains his reasoning for this and while you may agree or disagree with advert popups or automatically being pointed to 'The Store', surely you cannot disagree with the prices issues? OK the example has become flawed with the recent pricing change, but his facts were spot on at the time of writing.
