I'm with you on that. Japanese developers always start their ideas with a controller in hand first and I feel western devs always start with the graphics engine and just shoehorn bland gameplay into the mix. Platformers and fighters almost always play like crap by western devs compare to Japanese devs
Personally, as a Nintendo gamer the only third party games I've bought over the years are mostly capcom games and sometimes namco or konami. There are a few oddball games from treasure or other exclusives that I've picked up but at least 80% of the games I've bought are Nintendo produced or published so you are right to some extent. I think on the Japanese front Nintendo does have quite a bit of third party support and I will welcome platinum games (wonderful 101) with open arms...
What annoyed me about the game is it would stutter while walking in a preloaded area right before an enemy is about to emerge. The little stutter was noticeable enough to ruin the surprise and it would tip you off every time.
I'm sorry my reading comprehension is not very good and I misunderstood. I did not mean to upset you but the wiiu may not be strong enough to mesh the zones from what I understand. People say it is not as strong enough as the ps3 (I don't know never owned one) so maybe that is the reason. Either way I loved tri on the wii and I heard this version is merely an upgrade to that game but not a sequel with more monsters and weapon types.
Your wiiu is busted. The load times between areas is virtually non existent compare to the wii version
Because its no longer on Sony systems?
Classic mode is what makes it unique amongst srpgs and adds a whole new dimension to your tactics. It'll make you more wise at your moves once you adapt to it.
I wonder how this will affect sonys strategy in expanding in developing countries who probably don't have the infrastructure to support all this streaming and what not
Great points. The gamepad's potential has yet to be fully realized. Despite the current drought of games but just thinking about the future use of the gamepad has me excited.
It's funny how people claim you can't say anything bad about the game unless you played it (which is true) but how can people claim it to be the best game of 2013 without actually, you know, played it?

They've gained the most market share this generation and Sony lost the most market share this generation. Maybe he's referring to that
I don't think they'll do what sega did with the Saturn and try a surprise release
Well yeah, that was the point of bundling wii sports to sell systems. Casuals and parents didn't want a wii for the potential of motion controls; they wanted it to play bowling and the other gimmicky games on wii sports. Why are people on this site so dense and hold such convoluted thoughts especially when it comes to Nintendo?
Clearly you never played kid Icarus or fire emblem
You're mistaking them for Sony
Wonderbook is hardcore to the motherfucking max. Fuck yeah!!! Fuck Nintendo, we hate those pussies, right?!!
I was just thinking about the possibility of a Samsung playstation 5
It's likely delayed So they only need to do one round of advertising rather than two
Uh, Greg miller is the guy who gave uncharted 3 a 10.0 while saying the ending wasn't that great and was rushed.
