I think the very opposite to the example of Bioshock, in which the first was such a standalone piece on release that a sequel seemed almost redundant. Instead, a sequel here can flesh out the backstory that the novel's writer has no doubt created, I also feel that the developer can deliver that story much more effectively than 2033. I'd like to see them take on the follow up.
Thanks for those constructive criticisms. Why say that!? I enjoy what I do.
The graphics I felt weren't particularly strong although as I put in the review, they did portray the tone excellently. So in answer to you omi25p, I agree with what you say.
I don't believe Bayonetta to be nearly as outstanding a game as the superb God of War III which was absolutely excellent in nearly every passage of its game design. I enjoyed Bayonetta, no doubt, have a look at my review, but no way as near as the GOW III standards.
I really enjoyed Haze. It played well and was fast-paced and neat graphically. There were a few bugs but it was thoroughly enjoyable.
Thank you.
I'd say the graphics deserve a 7.0. Whilst alright, they're nothing fantastic and especially during boss battles, as explained, textures are extremely dull and bland. I don't think the graphics are what are called 'beautiful' but they are nice nevertheless.
Thanks for the comment :)
I don't disagree that it's time to do something about it but I'd like to see "Project Ten Dollar" rolled out instead. At least then, the DLC that you don't get for buying a used copy is only an extension to the package. In no way do I think that users should be punished (removal of online play, which has always been there!) for buying a used copy.
I would have to disagree on the similarity to GOW style controls. It neither felt as fluid or effective as such a control scheme and just the whole nature of focusing the beam of light felt a little cumbersome.
For me, it didn't quite work but I have to applaud the generally high level of polish that the game has.
