Yes: Skyrim.

Let's be honest, Kinect Star Wars could work perfectly and still only be mediocre. Losing it from the Christmas billing is no great loss to my mind.

You do have to sift through more crap on XBL to find the games that genuinely put retail titles to shame, though.

@AKS

Agreed, especially the types that can't seem to recognize blatantly obvious sarcastic replies to the sarcasm.

Ridiculous. How stupid are you? Tropico 4?! That won't even do a tenth of the sales of Skyrim, let along MW3. What, exactly, do you base that statement on, DaveX360? Your previous experiences of the obviously best-selling within the Tropico-fanboy-crowd series? You really ought to back that up with some facts boyo, because you're going to make yourself look like a real game n00b come November time, saying things like that. Honestly, some people really detract from the otherwise profou...

Doesn't matter if the mechanic is tired, if he hasn't finished his shift, he won't get paid.

Essentially yes, they are 'super' important. The website is there to promote Gamescom, the embodiment of the European games industry - that clean corporate image doesn't align with the vibrant industry our side of the pond whatsoever, or the buzz of the show itself. I'd be curious as to what remit the BIU has exactly when it commissions the website.

And I find the E3 site far more navigable.

Oh look, another salient Kran comment.

You mean the site? The opinion piece? Both?

5051d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

You're wrong.

5051d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yes. Simply because I love Mass Effect, am not too fussed about GOW or BF and I couldn't give a toss about COD.

Actually - yes! Stomp around like a mech! The harder you stamp, the quicker you go - perfect for people living on the second floor or higher of residential block.

I've seen you say that before. Change the record you Xbot.

Yeah, let's be serious. This is a serious site with serious articles for serious people. Stop with all the joking, what possible function could having a joke serve?

5052d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

The only one I'd really care about is UT4.

5053d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Oh, good god no. It would take some convincing for me to fork out an extra £80 for Kinect just to play one really good Kinect game, let alone this casual dross.

5053d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

Maybe. Though there was so much there we couldn't photo, the video would have been cut to ribbons anyway.

It depends on whether the studio is wholly owned by the publisher and what the relationship is. I don't know how much independence Criterion retained when EA bought it a few years ago, but as long as it's not a hostile takeover creative control is usually negotiated.
