It's funny seeing people I've spent countless hours, side by side, battling the Horde taking a break to play Castle Crashers. I won't be laughing however as I am one of them.
Castle Crashers is more than a simple diversion however. It's a great game in it's own right and worthy of the hours spent playing it. Get three of your friends to join your gamer on Live and be prepared for some craziness.
Castle Crasher is a worthy Live Arcade download. 360 owners should d...
Dang Neo604! You're a GENIUS!!!!
Awesome logic lil' dude! And don't forget to factor in that Sony LOSES money on each PS3 sold while Microsoft makes a PROFIT on every 360!
Oh and yeah... there's that software sales thing. You know, the one where Microsoft's 360 dominates.

Wow Neo, did you even go to school? Or did you just hide in the dumpster all the while?
My MASTER 'HERO' is kickin' but in Fable II! And I'm loving it.
Ummm, ever hear of comic books? Seriously---yours is a foolish statement. Of course action/adventure/fantasy gamers want to relate to over-sized, super good, or super bad characters! It's the gamers/comic book readers' raison d'être.
We wrap ourselves in the skins of the larger than life characters we all love in video games and comics. The more enigmatic and less well defined these characters, the easier for us to color their existance and being with those of our own.

You missed the part where I explained Cliff's reticence to allowing Dom's reaction to finding his wife Maria.
Blezinski knew there would be averse reactions and puzzled feelings by players. He stated that this one particular instance was a topic of heated internal debate amongst the development team.
In the end, it was decided to allow Dom to say goodbye to his wife and end her misery as played out in the game.
I'll give everyone another instance ...
It's sad, but you've just accurately described a sizeable portion of posters here at N4G.com.
Too, too true.
Indeed.
To save my self from explaining twice look for my post further below. Gears does exactly what it is supposed to and in a way others can only hope to emulate.
Read my post @ #15
knows that underplaying the storyline and more importantly, underplaying the various characters' dialogue was an intregal design component.
Cliff Bleszinski stated that it was the developing team's belief that keeping dialogue and game narrative to a minimum would allow greater personal immersion by players as each was allowed to flesh out the various character's motive, feeling and reactions as they themselves interpreted.
Gears gives players just enough storyli...
While HALO 3 still charts in the top 100.
HALO has greater brand recognition with today's consumers. The HALO brand is golden. Now it's conceivable that HALO WARS could fail so widely that it could tarnish the HALO brand.
I doubt it though. For me, an admitted Halo fan and avid player, I look to Halo Wars as a fresh approach to revel in the Halo universe. I am NOT a big RTS fan but I still expect hours of enjoyment from Halo Wars. Many of my gaming friends expre...
Looks awesome!
I'm sorry Boink, but being forced to pay for features you do not need or cannot use results in the PS3 being the exact opposite of "a better value."
This is just more pathetic spin from Sony when in its place they should be emphasizing games and developing worthwhile features for online play.
And a shamelss act of desperation as well.
The BEST value is always when you purchase no more than you need to achieve the results you desire.
Sony forces features on a large segment of gamers who do not require them---or cannot make use of them: wi-fi and blu-ray most notably.
Wi-fi is wasted for gamers without home networks or wireless internet connections.
Blu-ray is wasted on gamers without HDtvs or monitors.

The accounting is handled differently on defective returns. The replacements are credited back to the retailer from the manufacturer or wholesaler. I learned that, most likely, before you were even born, back when I managed my first store (Walgreens Drugs/Chicago).
To put it to rest: NONE of the 8-million unit lead by the 360 over the PS3 is attributeable to replacement units. Neither from retaliers nor from Microsoft's repair service. These units are handled in an entirely dif...
I'm glad to have the option. This is also just another step in prepping gamers for largescale digital distribution.
Little steps... little steps.
The 360's optional install?---good for the user who wants it. Freedom of choice! Yeearrrrgh!
Yes, that is exactly my point.
Look, we are all hardcore gamers here. Regardless of our petty squabbles and minor differences all of us are heavily commited to gaming as a lifestyle, passtime and artform. It's important to keep our opinions in their proper perspective. With regards to the general public: our opinions don't count at all---since most will never go beyond the forums we populate and the ring of family & friends we proselytize to with our every-waking breath.
felt like a homo-erotic version of a B rate action flick.
So Chriss... tell us: How many homo-erotic B-rated action flicks have you watched in order to offer your expert opinion?
Most of us will just have to trust you on that one.
Something you can't buy is community. The ps3 is severly lacking in this aspect at this time. Most of my friends own xboxs and I buy games to play against them. I wager most school kids will ask for the console most kids in schoool have. At this time it's the 360.[\quote]
The 360 is the console for online gaming--as was the original Xbox. Yes, Sony has tried to gain some of that market segment but to date it has failed to do so. Leave 'hardcore' and 'fanboy' gamer's opin...
The ONLY data that matter is the chart that show the TOTAL NUMBER of high quality rated games, and it shows that the 360 is the undisputible victor in the race for top-rated quality games.
Spinning the datum by viewing the aggregate review chart rather than the aggregate total is not only flawed, it is a blatant falsehood.
The percentage tallies of the aggregate by reviews is meaningless. Worse, when shown to a new gamer as proof of PS3 superiority it is coldly d...
