The BC is actually really cool to me as a PS4 owner, no matter it is actully useful. But this feature for MS is a bottomless pit of developer recourse, constant tweak and optimization is needed to ensure every game run well on the hardware. This is almost case by case scenario especially games that comes out letter, which is heavilly optimized against the original hardware, making it even harder to optimise. So if this feature don't push sales, MS probably will stop supporting it, the res...

The Ps4 api have already had DirectX12 features, so when devs start to use DirectX12 they will also use these features. So there is no advantages Xbox one over Ps4 there.

Looks a lot similar to that of Ps4 than before

That's funny

after hearing these kinds of stuff a thousand times the xbox still has a bunch of games with lower res and/or fps than ps4, please work harder microsoft.

totally agree

it is not that res is the ONLY difference that ps4 can make over xbox one, it is the processing horse power behind this res difference. and it can represent many things boyond res, for example better framerate, more detail, better aa, or game physics. it is up to the devs' choice for how to use those extra horse power.

use the cloud to accelerate physics computation is not practical given today's internet speed. consider how much data must sent to the cloud per frame, thats thousands of object and it is still going up. these objects each have their own shape, speed, position that I think it is not going to work well unless your network is above 1gbit/s(that is a thousandth to the ps4's bandwidths), and that is on the assumption that the web has no latency(web latency is about 100,000 to 1,000,000 ti...

aside from visuals, Id rather like to see games that utilize gpgpu based phisics like liquid simulation, aerodynamics, softbody, destructible environment, as promised by Mark Cerney when it was anounced.

perhaps this guy is a qa and it is one of the bugs he found that he didnt submit to the developers

yeah, and we dont have to wait till the end of the year for forza 6 to see this kind of graphic(somthing the xbowner have been doing)

3328d ago 4 agree3 disagreeView comment

glad we dont have to wait for an uncertain amount of time for quantum break to see this kind of graphics.

3330d ago 8 agree25 disagreeView comment

at least it is 100 times better than xbone

If it was not for Phil Spencer, the xbox one would have been dead already. It is more than acceptable to sell 10 million plus after making so many wrong decision.

3333d ago 8 agree20 disagreeView comment

it will catch up with the xbox one point one(xbox opo)

this is another stupid decisions they have made after the used game and the always on policies. these execs just cant understand how their console get out sold month after month.

3339d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

the order 1886 had already done that.

3341d ago 1 agree5 disagreeView comment

microsoft's next step: anyone who has an ps4 in japan will get an xbone for free! and makes it surpass ps4's sale in a sudden.

3350d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

thanks to SONY and Ready At Down's effort so we dont need to wait until something like 2016 for the Quantum Break to see jaw dropping graphics

I can foresee the xbox boss yelling at their developers "you had better give me a game at this graphic on xbox one, or you get fired!"
