Wow, never heard that one before :P
You FAIL AT LIFE if you're still finding the substitution of "we" sounds for "Wii" funny.
sidar – do you think so? Personally I'm expecting trolls by the dozen.
Agreed, the five games I have for my Wii are all Nintendo titles. The third party efforts are touted so heavily but none ever really live up to standard... something I've come to expect from them.
I remember the reason I bought a PS1 was BECAUSE of the third party games – and it's for the same reason that I'm after a PS3 now, because it strikes me that as long as Nintendo aren't serious about third parties, Square Enix won't be serious about releasing a bona fide Final Fantasy ...
Would people STOP saying Wii 2?
Yeah, you get the impression he hasn't played either of the consoles he's pitting against the 360... this whole article is deep-fried in bias. It's just a shame he's one of the few people capable of disguising their dogma with articulate sentences, it would have been so much fun to watch this article get rejected at the first hurdle for rabid trolling (as opposed to the subtle digs he's got away with thus far).
And just look at his writing style: words like "fad" come...
"The Wii’s controls are good for fun Mario or cartoon character games, but they also suck when it comes to any kind of shooter game."
Shame on you, sir. Go play Metroid Prime 3 and guess again.
Not that I was ever expecting the neutrality the article title implies from a blogger called Halo3Guy.....
Interesting premonition, and you could well be right. But, erm – "garbage ass wii mote"? I must ask you how you'd ever be able to fairly judge this game, given your contempt for the hardware (and almost certain lack of ownership thereof)?
...the Associated Press does. Is Gizmodo rebuking Nintendo for NOT dabbling in corporate censorship?
Needless to say Kalee Bund Waalaa and LeonSKennedy4Life have played the games they're flaming, as I'd expect nobody within this rich, diverse industry to make judgements based on ignorance and dogma (!)
...even the millions who bought the console. For sheer entertainment value, though, your post is second only to the hilarious replies I got from those fundamentalists....
Although I disagree with the notion that the article is out to get Nintendo, I still find the author's points fairly irrelevant. For one, since when is separating controls based on the hand necessary for the triggered action a bad thing in Metroid Prime? Eric-Jon says:
"Metroid Prime - Although this game makes perhaps the best ever use of the GameCube pad, that doesn't mean it's ideal! The controls are broken down into "left hand" and "right hand". Icon...
Never before have I heard the terms "instant rice" and "playing cards" used to describe the legacy of a single company. Not that this was news to me (well, I didn't know about the rice)....
I'm considering a PS3 to complement my Wii :D
"I don't know how they give kids game like this that score"
...'Tis the fool who condescends a genre simply because of its market. Play the bloody thing first.
"games that don't require any developments efforts ,any budget ,any professionals."
Pfft, the core development projects that provide the foundation for this game started development in 1999. And as for your assumption that the developer has neglected the latter two points...
Why does the preview consist of all the bad bits? You're supposed to build them up, THEN knock 'em down! :-P
There's No Need™ for the CONSTANT® LEGAL SYMBOLS® that plagues this Article™ on a per-line Basis™
It's really ANNOYING™ and reminds me of the sort of Thing® you see on Star Wars™ merchandise.

Mon dieu: so yes, there's a chronic lack of [decent] shooters or BBFC 18s on the Wii. But what makes you think kids and girls don't play such titles on the Xbox 360 you tout so much? It would be nice if people were less blindly cynical about the many gaming audiences who don't fit within the sixteen-to-twenty-four-year-ol d male bracket.
And pardon the PS3 for embracing a new technology (a strategy which – oh look – Microsoft have since usurped)! I personally think that if any ...
SD cards could be used to expand the system memory, maybe ( so it's not just used for backing up channels, photos and saves)...
You'd be surprised. Wii owners will probably take to this idea very quickly regardless of territory, for what could possibly go wrong with emulating a conductor's baton, drums etc in this fashion? Given the success of other in-house Wii branded games like Wii Play (Wii Fit is still up for debate, and most Wii owners own Wii Sports from the off), why is it that Wii Music's charm won't win them over? Could it not be that Guitar Hero also sold on the basis of simplicity, namely that "even i...
