Even with Activision/Blizzard’s revenue, Xbox would be 3rd in revenue behind Sony and Nintendo, so I don’t think that’s the issue.

Finally a common sense argument. Differences are minimal at best!

It seems like all the smaller review sites have given it high scores, while the big sites are giving it low scores. In all honesty, I'd be surprised if those smaller sites even got the game early. They probably based their reviews off the leaked gameplays. I would trust the consensus of the bigger sites that seem to suggest it is a 6.5 or so.

I personally think this game is going to be very good and maybe even amazing, but I do this some of the criticism has been warranted.

First, Sony has done a very poor job of marketing this game, which is nothing new for Sony. I remember when the first gameplay trailer came out and it was very underwhelming and looked very amateurish in terms of its structure and presentation. Second, the gameplay hasn't been presented as very innovative which is something that has been...

Yeah, I played the game for 2 hours or so. I think it is a solid game, but it don't like the core experience of the game, i.e. the cat and mouse game. Most games seem to devolve into two experiences: either your playing someone who is new to the monster role and they get caught in the first two minutes and lose, or you chase the monster for 20 minutes until they reach level 3 and you get wrecked. I think if you're the type of player that loves deep coordination with other players i...

"'BEYOND was garbage and the graphics definitely werent one of the the many problems it had...'

Your opinion. But you don't speak for the rest of us. I'm glad you have no influence on what games do/do not get released."

Actually, the general opinion of the game when it came out was that it was mediocre. Never played it myself, so I can't judge. But I think his opinion is valid. Remastered versio...

Another remastered of a game not even a year old, ugh. Anyway, they better price it correctly. It can be bought for 30 bucks new on amazon for PS3. This should be priced at 40 bucks max if you ask me.

Not a compelling argument. That is three games spread across 2 systems. There are more than 3 compelling exclusives spread across the PS4 and Xbox One at the moment, not to mention by the year's end.

I am sure they will announce games at TGS and Gamescom, and possibly one or two small unannounced japanese-only games are going to be released this year, but you are out of your mind if you expect Sony to announce a huge title to be released in America for 2014 at TGS or Gamescom. Sony's 2014 schedule is set in stone for better or worse. Clearly, Sony thought the Order was going to make it for the Fall and it didn't, and it has left a pretty big hole for their exclusive 2014 line-up...

To be fair, it takes a while for new consoles to make the transition, so the first year is always slow. But Sony's list of fall exclusives is a little weaker than you would expect, I expected at least one game on the level of infamous or so.

I'm still skeptical of this game. The beta is going to decide whether I keep or cancel my pre-order, so it is kinda important for people on the fence, like me.

Wouldn't be surprised if a third of the games on this list get pushed back til 2016, seems to be a trend in the games industry that several big name Fall titles get pushed til the next year every year. Every year looks amazing til half the titles get pushed to the next year.

@Fenome

First party support doesn't only mean First party developed games. It means a console manufacturer supporting its system with games, doesn't matter whether they are developed by MS wholly owned studios or contracted work through second parties, or even bought third party games. These are all games supported through First Party means whether directly or indirectly.

My hat goes off the MS and Sony for making people think they give two shits about them. Listen, they are a business, they try to manipulate you by making you feel like they care to increase brand loyalty. If Sony announced that they would be pricing PS4 games at 100 bucks, I guarantee most gamers would lose their shit and trade in their PS4's, while MS would talk about how loyal they are to gamers and their need for affordable games. Sony pounced on MS when they made their poor DMR pol...

Exclusive is exclusive, who cares if it is second or third party developed? Does that mean that Bloodborne can't be counted as an exclusive because its made by From Software. This is a stupid comment.

3997d ago 5 agree12 disagreeView comment

This article sucks. 3 exclusives for xbone, try 8. They have Halo Master Chief Collection, Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Dance Central Spotlight, Ori and the Blind Forest, Project Spark, Fantasia, and KI: season 2 (if indies count then I feel like this is acceptable). Article says Bloodborne is releasing on 3/31/15, I've never heard of them even announcing the release date. Too many factual fallacies to take serious.

I would love to see them release a new breath of Fire as an arcade title and pay homage to the first to Breath of Fire games and all their old school glory.

I'm sure MS has exclusive options on exclusivity for the sequel in the contract they signed with Insomniac, since they are allowing them to keep the IP. I wouldn't be surprised if they have exclusive rights to opt in for exclusive sequels for the next 10 years, then Insomniac could go multiplat, but very few franchises survive 10 years.

Yeah, I don't see what people are getting upset over. Sony paid for this timed content (probably a lot for it), if a company sees the value in buying timed content then that is their decision to make. I don't like this practice from MS or Sony but it's not like I have a choice, so I just deal with it. Microsoft decided to spend their money Call of Duty timed DLC and Evolved timed DLC and beta and when those games come out I will enjoy that content earlier because of the timed e...

One of the big benefits of releasing games on new platforms is the lack of competition and therefore even though there is a much smaller install base for possible sales, the attach rate for games is typically much larger. The tail of sales for new games doesn't drop as quickly either. I could possibly see a AAA sports title being released this fall because those titles basically become worthless after a new iteration comes out but I don't expect to see other AAA games out until next...
