you have to thank a little in the future on a console. for technological reason.if the dev would learn the cell engine and the way Sony splits the memory.they are smart people are they wouldn't be writing computer code. so they should be able to pick up on sonys ps3 systems and develop nice games for it.in my job when we get new state of the art equipment we have to learn the new equipment fast and no excuses because its new and deferent are hard. things seem hard because there new and differ...
its not the ps 3 system its that ea didn't write the computer code for the ps 3 hardware.i rember last gen x box 1 owners complaining about ps2 to x box ports being bad its the same reasons as now deferent hardware and code not being wrote for the specific hardware.

the reason the x360 to ps3 ports dont run well on the ps 3 is because they are not the code for the ps3 hardware specifications.the devs need to make the 360 for there specs and ps3 for there specs.i rember the last generation people complaininging about the ports from the ps2 to the reg x box its the same reason different hardware.the way to show the devs how we feel about lousy ports on any system is with our pocket books then maybe they would learn real quick to devlop for all the systems ...
mike how do you know what resolution the game will be at. the game isn't released yet until the final version is released your just guessing on that issue.
i enjoy my blu ray movies on my ps3. i like the idea of up to 50 gb of storage for movies for games and if you have a burner then for that storage also.i like the way the uncompressed 5,1 sounds on my surround system. i know hd/dvd fans have there reasons for liking hd/dvd so theirs no reason to get upset and badmouth the other format that you don't like enjoy the system you bought if universal starts bluray and hd maybe the other exclusive for blu ray will support hd/dvd and we can all enjoy...
devs need to learn the systems there developing for.and build the game for the strengths of the system even on multiplatform games so they should dev the game for the 360 with the 360 strengths and build ps3 games with the ps 3 strengths. they should spend more time learning the systems instead of bad mouthing them and if need be get sony are ms tech involved.in the long run it would be beneficial to the dev more people would buy the 60 dollar games if they were made for system strengths. ins...
