I do both. Hear me out as to why. Pokemon Sun and Moon on the 3ds looks like absolute sh*t. See the aliasing in any game footage take from a 3ds. When you play it through an emulator, it looks infinitely better.
Most here don't agree with you. If it's a handheld, then why are a full majority of the accessories specifically designed for it to not be used as a handheld? Joy-con charger controller, pro controller, extra docks for other places in the house. How is it so hard for you to fathom that it is a hybrid? Better yet, how does it hurt you if you're in fact wrong, and it is a hybrid console?
I feel like all the dislikes on comments on this page are from overly controlling parents that don't feel like putting a simple age restriction on their kids' consoles.
If parents would actually put restriction settings on their kids consoles, then you wouldn't have to worry about kids seeing 18+ rated games (minus the internet browsers of course).

I can get in and out of a match in under 5 minutes. The core online is great. I've yet to experience any connectivity issues. Or at the very least, I haven't noticed any online issues. Though I think the need for the phone app just to simply chat is pretty ridiculous.

@Kun_ADR Same. I absolutely love the Pokemon series but I just can't get passed that bad aliasing on the 3ds version. This is the exact reason I wish that Nintendo would port Ultra Sun & Moon to the switch, to take care of the aliasing at least a bit.
