Kind of hard to believe there are places in the world that cant even buy a game console. I know it isn't perfect, but makes me glad I live in the United States.
Who knows really? I mean when I heard of the 3DS price drop I did pre order one. I think they might have different audiences to be honest though. I actually see their being a comparison to the way the PS2 outsold the PS3 at first with the PSP probably outselling the Vita for a while. I mean it's cheaper, pretty good games library and it's actually more powerful then the 3DS.

I think the fact that games sell better around the holidays has something to do with it. When you have companies plan their own game releases around when your not releasing your game you have a pretty good idea as to whether or not you've got a hit on your hands.
Might not be for everyone, but there is a huge fanbase out their for COD and I respect that and it's players.
Wow! I'm new to the Forza series as I only picked up Forza 3 a few months ago but I've not been able to put it down. Forza 4 is really looking fantastic! Plus I get to use my Kinect to check out what's under my cars hood.
Look's like Turn 10 has really went all out.
This looks very interesting. There are around 4 or 5 Kinect titles I plan on getting this year and this is definitely one of them. Child Of Eden, which I already bought, Rise Of Nightmares, Fruit Ninja, Kinect Sports 2, Gunstringer and Star Wars are the others....Things looking up if you own a Kinect.
Why would people who are against Call Of Duty and Elite in general even bother to post in this topic? Seems like just a way to troll for responses.
On topic, I finished my registration and am looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. It looks impressive. I really enjoyed the way Black ops tracked stats and if they improve upon that then I definitely see a market for something like this.

I tried to tell people that $250 was too much for a handheld, it's a bad economy and that price point combined with a lack of quality titles really turned people off the device.
With some quality titles on the way and the price drop I've already pre ordered it and OOT. SO I think it'll be fine, people panic way too early honestly.
We've seen plenty of launches with lack luster games and they turned out fine.
All new games are the same price, unless it's a collectors edition or something. As for the DLC, that is entirely optional. So if it's too much money for you then you don't have to buy it.

That's weird. All new games here in the states are $59.99 unless it's collectors edition. I don't know much about pounds, but I wouldn't let 10 pounds keep me from a game I wanted.
I'm actually really looking forward to both of these games. Rise of Nightmares, Kinect Sports 2 and Star Wars Kinect are the other Kinect titles I'll be picking up later this year.
The only problem I see is that the Gunstringer/Fruit Ninja combo comes out later then Fruit Ninja by itself...so that means I'll probably end up with a code for the game I cant use.....
I think once in a while something comes along that makes 3-D work really well. Avatar was a fair movie, but when you watched it in 3-D at the movies it was AMAZING. Then you get all the companies trying to copy that.
Putting 3-D on a sub par movie or game just to try to capitalize on the gimmick was never going to work long term. 3-D has come and gone since the 1950's and I can see a market for it with certain movies, but why slap it every new movie out just for the sake ...
I'm pretty new to the Wii, just picked up the black Wii Mario Kart bundle a few months ago, so I'm still playing catch up with the back catalog. I have to say I am impressed with the games I've played. Metroid Prime Echoes, Mario Galaxy,Epic Mickey, Madworld, New Super Mario Bro's and Zelda Twilight Princess have all been stellar. Those are the only games I have thus far, but they are all a ton of fun.

I just think the demand wasn't there at $250. I was always interested in one, but I would never pay $250 for a handheld gaming device. The lack of games was also an issue, but it looks like both the price point and lack of games are a thing of the past. $169 is very affordable and with games like OOT and Mario, Luigi's Mansion, StarFox and Kid Icarus, there will be plenty to keep me busy with for a while.
I pre ordered once the price dropped.
Well I hope so, the reason I bought Move was because of that game. Would be a shame if they canned it or something.
I mean using Move on Socom 4 or Killzone 3 is okay but I was really looking forward to the titles that would utilize Move as stand alone titles and we haven't really seen those yet.
The lack of quality Move only games bothers me. I bought the bundle a while back but I was really wanting to play games like Sorcery...which is nowhere to be found...

Well I don't think blind people can enjoy much anything as far as sight is concerned. My mother however is missing one eye and that's far more common. So she can enjoy Blu Ray and HD but not 3-D.
My opinion is right for me, just like yours is for you, 3-D is and always has been a fad throughout history. That's just fact, sorry if you don't think so but feel free to do a little research on the subject.

I've never been a big fan of 3-D. I thought it would be hard pressed to find a decent audience. Unlike HD television or Blu Ray which is often used to compare to the 3-D adoption rate, HD and Blu Ray everyone can enjoy. 3-D cant say the same, I just don't see youngsters or parent types or grandparents wanting to wear glasses to enjoy watching movies or just standard television for that matter.

I loved Red Faction Guerrilla, why did they take out the online modes? I thought that was huge in the success the previous Red Faction saw.
Sad to see another quality IP bite the dust.
I hope this game sells well, if for no other reason then to show the companies that it's okay to take a risk on a new IP from time to time.
I have the Batman Arkham City collectors edition pre ordered, it looks pretty good. I also got the Epic edition of Gears 3. Want that statue! I got the Killzone 3 one earlier this year when they discounted it to like $49.
I don't see how some of these things get approved. There is room for more then one FPS, has been for years. If COD isn't your thing then get Battlefield, if Battlefield isn't your thing then get COD. Case closed.
Why drag on these arguments? You would seriously think some of these people worked for Activision or Dice/EA with the way they defend a simple game.
