My read of the article is not that he wants them to clone WoW, but more that they need to move in that direction in terms of design and mechanics. My gut, although I'll have to post over there to see, is that he is trying to make it easy on them in terms of tech. Its sort of the whole, "Hey, you built this other game already, just steal from it."
I'll post and see what he has to say, because I'd hate to see it be a WoW single player clone as much as anybody.
I agree. There is as much Halo hating as their are Halo haters and its just baffling. I want spirited debate and discussion, but these two groups rarely get beyond: you suck. no, you suck...

Perhaps the real benefit here will be that forcing your child to play on the Wii could possibly result in actual behavior modification. If a child is well behaved he is allowed his Xbox 360 trash talking time, but if he is a typical gamer child and behaves in a way that makes the animal kingdom ashamed to share the planet with said child then the Wii is the console of coice.
Granted parents ought to control this, but in the absence of that it can't hurt to have at least one con...
