Many MMOs are like that, to be honest. I think the neat upgrades, public events, random encounters, and hidden areas make up for the combat repetition. But yes, if I didn't explore, I'd totally agree with you.
Unlikely.
Looks like the beginning of another great line up! I can't wait to see what else is in store at Gamescom.
So what? The Xbox folks have the entire Halo franchise as an exclusive. Sony-exclusive DLC expansion is hardly something to get frustrated over. Besides, this whole Xbox fans vs. Sony fans rivalry is childish at best.
For sure. It'd definitely be great to see this title make it to the consoles.
I definitely agree that Lost Odyssey had the 'Final Fantasy' feel to it. The story, characters, and music were all incredible! Square Enix should follow its example (and scores of other good ones)!
Good article, but I do not thing one replaces the other. It's just like when broadcast journalism took the spotlight from print for a while. Eventually YouTubers and other video journalists will begin to work hand-in-hand with the writers. Rather than competing for limited coverage, media groups work through different ways of getting the story across to get the most comprehensive coverage possible.
Absolutely! They seem to undervalue the simple fact that they should stay true to the genre.
Thanks! I clearly missed that detail.
Haha couldn't have said it better myself
Interesting comparison! Those two games also remind of the Legacy of Kain series for some reason.
Bahahaha!
It was in the official press release, unfortunately.
I definitely agree with you on that
This looks promising!
Thanks for catching that! I don't follow Minecraft, so keep me on my toes!
Haha right on!
Very cool. I'm looking forward to this one.
I fully support this. Robin is the greatest!
