That's bullshit. There have been plenty of past articles that say Xbox is barely profitable. Software and Xbox live make up a lot of the profits but that's not surprising.
This article is total crap. It's about games and 60 FPS is awesome for games. If a game runs at 30 FPS, that's cool, but 60 would be nice. To me, this sounds like an excuse for Killzone not hitting 60FPS during campaign. If it can't run at 60, it can't run at 60. Quit the "better experience BS." The game looks great (AI is suspect though), no need to make excuses.
So they are charging for features or parts of the game that should be included with the retail purchase. Interesting. So to buy KZ I really need $80 for the game. Rip off.
The story line portion being added to the MP is interesting. Having Mechs and free running together in a game seems to be distinct to me. I seems to play like CoD overall so I can understand your question. However, there is a reason it's number one and why not try to bring the best aspects of it to a game that offers a twist.
Custom matches are nothing new so you're not getting a pass on that. It's great but this is PS4s big FPS launch title. Don't you want more than custom matches? Even Halo 4 has no shield games, snipers, etc.

The games graphics look great but that's where it ends. I might be looking at it wrong but what's the big deal about custom matches??? The game just looks too slow and boring. Against the other FPS games, this game(IMO)is not very impressive. Maybe it will look better once they show a full match.

I think it was smart to add Kinect. The console offers something for everyone and can add something unique to games. Since it's part of the system, developers will work with it; especially if it works as advertised. The problem with making it optional is optional support. Just look at PS Move; no games, no support. I agree that the price could come down some, a $50 cut would be amazing.
The game is pretty but my concerns seem to be coming true. It looks so boring!!! The AI is terrible...terrible! There is more to a game than pretty graphics and this is where KZ has been weak. All the hype around the game but during the demos, I haven't seen anything really unique to separate it.

Actually this is incorrect. Like many posted below, this is a feature that is available today on both systems. This never had anything to do with DRM. However, what I think you're thinking about has to deal with physical disks. Ex: you buy a disk from Gamestop, but it in X1 and a copy of the game is automatically added to your digital library. You're right, Sony's Playstation division is making money and will make more now that PS+ is needed for MP. However, the company as a whole is losing billions year after year...maybe that's what he's getting at. Xbox isn't going anywhere soon either...Xbox is profitable.
