Looks like there's been a much needed graphics update since the first Prototype. I thought the first was rather underrated so I'm excited for this. The trailer might even hint at the developers trying to inject a little humor into the game which wouldn't be a terrible thing considering how outrageous the gameplay is and how "grim and gritty" the first game was.
Heard the campaign was only about 5 hours long, which seems to be on par with a lot of FPS's nowadays but it's still a rental in my book.
That's good news. Hopefully some little issues get changed that kept this thing from being great instead of just really good. The one thing I thought would have improved the combat was just an uncharted style cover system, and the ability to buy more than one weapon or vehicle at a time. I always hated going through that dumb animation every time I wanted a new item. You want a shotgun two pistols and a car? You've gotta watch that animation 4 times.
To bad I have Directv. This is all the channel would have been good for though. And maybe certain episodes of AOTS depending on what they had on that night. All the rest of what they show are just rerun marathons of Cops and Ninja Warrior.
This is insinuating that I'll eventually get tired of killing zombies. that, quite frankly, is preposterous. I refuse to believe anything could be more satisfying.

Personally I'm looking into a used game boy sp or micro. My problem with the DS is that I don't have any use for a handheld gaming system if it isn't small enough to carry with me comfortably. The size of the DS prevents this. I know they've made them smaller but my old SP was the perfect size for my pocket and I carried it everywhere. I just got a PS3 a few days ago and I am certainly not disappointed. I loved my 360 but the PS3 has blown me away so far. I much prefer Killzone 2 to Halo and Uncharted is a blast.
I know that microsoft has stolen away previous sony exclusives before, but were those ones that sony actually owned the rights to? I always thought Gears was a MS exclusive simply because MS owned the rights to it? Don't they have control over what consoles it appears on?
Why are people like this in the gaming world? So Square Enix isn't a Sony-centered company anymore, who cares? It's not like they completely stopped making games for the PS3 and the games are just as good? How does it harm you Sony fanboys in any way to have the game on the 360 too? If anything you should be happy that the company is making more money so they can keep making quality games. And it's for this reason I'm begging for Kingdom Hearts 3 to be cross platform.

Wow you've read every review everybody who has tried Killzone 2 has written?! Well you must not have cause the one I read says the gameplay sucks and there's nothing good about it besides the graphics. Gameplay videos can't beat hands on impressions. How the game looks and how it actually feels can change drastically once you're holding the controller.
What kind of kid gets visibly violent after playing Madden for an hour? Parents need to realize that not all kids are at the same maturity level. Some can handle playing violent video games, some can't.
