on one hand I think it could be rather interesting if done properly, give us a chance to see what its like playing as a Krogan or Hanar lol.
But on the other is it really going to hold an audience after everyone has completed the story? To me it looks like it is just mindless action thrown in to attract gamers who pick up anything with a multiplayer component.

Haha quite the opposite for me, I think EA in the ps2 era was making so many smash hits! Medal of honour, GOOD need for speed games.
now I don't really see anything worth my time except the Mass Effect series. And I wont buy that till they remove the mandatory Origin part.

I'm not too sure that it will rival games such as Witcher 2 graphically though. Although that's probably because Mount and Blade is fugly lol

Might sounds weird but I hope Nvidia don't destroy AMD in the GPU department. AMD had it rough in the CPU market with bulldozer, their graphics cards are kind of their last decent thing.

I think its really sad that not as many devs release mod tools as before, sure it gives them a chance to shovel their dirty DLC packs but I think a game like Far Cry 2 could have been amazing with just a few simple mods / tweaks and not have gotten so much hate for example.

This was my initial gripe with Steam. "why the F*** do I have to install this if I want to run my game?" But I am used to it now, the sales alone convinced me it is worth it. But how long is it until I have to have an app for each individual publisher / developer?
For now I don't think EA has the pricing and large catalogue of games worth it to warrant a download.
They definitely lost my sale that's all I know.
