The screenshots do look awesome. But can anyone tell me what they're changing in 7? What's new about it that makes the release exciting?
I'm a casual fan of the series, I played 6: Empires, and that was cool, but it didn't really last for me. I should probably go back and pick it up again.

Is a livery designer really that big a deal? I mean, I'm all for cuztomization (loved Midnight Club 3) but I'm pretty sure it's Gran Turimo's variety of race modes (they even have stupid Nascar), car selection (double what Forza has), and crazy-OCD-hyper-realitic 'fizzicks' that are going to "stick it" to Forza.
I don't think ONE bullet-point titled "Livery Designer" makes Forza an all around better video game.
The GOTY edition includes, not just DLC, but content (cars, specifically) that owners of the original edition CAN'T get as DLC. They would have to buy the game again to get those cars. That's why people are so upset.

...I do know that Pokemon is very popular. I've often thought that I'd like those games if I played one of the originals. But the other games you listed are basically just DS ports/remakes of games from other consoles.

Top Spin is a wonderful tennis simulator, taking into account something called "timing," which I've heard kind of sort of factors into playing tennis IRL. Actual tennis is nothing like VT. Real tennis never has 100 ball rallies and also has something known as "Unforced Errors" that the players on Virtua Tennis never EVER have.
VT might be "more fun" for people who know nothing/don't care about real tennis, but Top Spin is the much bet...

Rune Factory is good for a while (quite a while) but it becomes a chore before you can even finish the first year. Maintaining those runeys killed it for me.

Am I the ONLY person who likes Scenario Campaign? I think it's interesting using different characters and seeing how they interact with Alisa and whatever boss you happen to be fighting. I just finished using Dragunov and the way Alisa dealt with his mute nature was hilarious!
Also, unlocking all the different items and customizing your guy is a lot of fun.
