I understand why there is some negative feedback. I can read. The point I was making was that in this day in age of cancel wars you can't always trust the entire feedback for what it is. If that statement somehow triggers you....welcome to freedom of speech.
Yeh.....was waiting for these to show up. Gabe tells them to pound sand on steam and now the hit pieces start coming through. The co-founder ex-wife interview with pages of drawn out background that seems so photographic for being so long ago.....only to slip in a paragraph at the end as the real purpose for the piece....
"I was hugely disappointed when Valve released a video in 2023 about the creation of Half-Life where one of the people interviewed, Karen Laur, a won...
Safe to say that a number of those bad reviews are also proxy attempts to bash the game and damage sales. The woke crowd can not stand the fact another game is proving that they are full of crap.
....OR Rockstar could have just approached them and asked them if they would be willing to allow them to use any of their music in their game, and if so how much would it take? That would have given them the opportunity to just say No instead of risking insult. It could seem pretty arrogant to just open by throwing money on a table assuming you can buy anything you want. That does turn some people off right away.
Oh....they exist. They are all playing Dustborn right now. All....what....80 of them? None of these companies will make the money they were promised by all the grifting DEI contractors. In Mr. Fink's own words....sometimes behaviors have to be forced.
Microsoft doesn't mind your money. It will be weird to see Microsoft on the top of all the Sony sales charts. More money for new XBox games.....works for me.
The amusing thing is by Microsoft doing this they are slowly going to force Sony to do the same thing if they want to make money. You will see both companies bringing out games day one to their prospective consoles and then to other consoles at a later time. Eventually everything will be timed exclusives. Sony already is starting to do that with PC. In the end it is about income and with the cost/risk of game development they will need to maximize that payback. This action may also be to ...
LOL.....Drama for 4 gamers never disappoints. Once again certain individuals pushing opinion as fact when it comes to the subjective. Whether there are actually 13 million playing Starfield or not, they made their money back on it and then some....so yes it was successful. I guess if the MS interest spike was due to negative news then Sony must have had no news this year because it has all been pretty much damage control at this point. From the leaks we've seen it doesn't appear t...
What is laughable is the stock people put in awards. Sure they are nice as recognition to the developer, but outside of that useless except for the corporate cheerleaders. So Spiderman is a crap game now because it didn't receive a single award? Call of Duty didn't receive any awards so no one is going to buy it? It's amusing how people treat the subjective as absolute for the purpose of scorekeeping. If everyone would just STFU and play their games the industry would be a m...
Just wait for the new exotic MG. That will be the new king when it comes out. It is locked behind the new incursion unfortunately. Supposedly due out in Oct.
So Shadow....why isn't Sony still using that "superior" cell processor in all their consoles? Enjoy them trophies? At least the 360 had a program to fix and repair their problems free of charge....while the DVD problem with the PS2 had users having to buy new systems. Tell us more about your white knight.....they are all corporations trying to cash in....your hatred for one doesn't change that.
So in the past all I heard was PC/Playstation was the way to go and everyone had gaming rigs. Microsoft no longer had exclusives because they were available on PC. So what changed? Or is the real problem that the games are not exclusive to Sony or that Sony zealots can take credit for a game's success because it was on a Sony console? Microsoft made Starfield available day one on PC. What would Sony have done had they secured exclusive rights? Yeh....anti-consumer...sure... if you s...
Hey that's nice. Guess what....your opinion, and it only has value to one person....you. Personally I preferred Oblivion...but that's me. It is rather obvious who the Sony Bethesdites are by the responses....yeh you guys just keep doing you. We won't get into the false comparison of single map versus multimap game design, but hey....you guys are all experts. Keep fighting that fight....I am sure your favorite corporation loves you for it. Starfield is already successful and ...
Don't like fast travel? Here's a novel idea.....DON'T USE IT. Had Bethesda forced lengthy travel then everyone would be bitching about the excessive travel times. Seems like the pettiness has people complaining about the stupidest crap. I guess you have to consider the source(s).
But it was perfectly fine for Jim Ryan to attempt to buy exclusivity to it. That action provoked MS to buy Bethesda. Don't like it.....go cry to Jim Ryan. At least you get it day one on PC....which is more than what Sony would have offered......at best a year later. So tell us again who is pro-consumer?

Just more senseless crap in attempts to distract us away from all the DEI BS the industry is trying to pull.
You can always make a drinking game out of it for every time they say the words "Made for a modern audience".

Mix that with the right gear sets and you will sound like an A-10 coming down the alley.

It's not like Microsoft tried to charge people for a demo.
