So far the videos of this game make it look like Fable. Sure, the combat is flashy, but flashy doesn't equal deep. They've also very awkwardly dodged questions about whether the world is on rails like Fable.

I don't play on the PC because of the wide variety of control options available to me. That's just a bonus.

Modding, player-hosted servers, true "indie" games that don't need the platform maker's blessing, ambitious games that would be totally impossible on current-generation console hardware... these are what make the PC unique. A console is a walled garden by design and will never have these freedoms because they add value for the customer that dir...

From what I've read the disc version also has three additional radio stations, so even if you never sell it it's clearly a better deal than the DLC.

That isn't the situation being described. If you buy one or both episodes as DLC you need the base game; only the compilation omits this requirement. This is the same across all platforms. If you want just one PC episode but don't have GTA4 you're faced with the same predicament as the console players.

On the PC you also have the option of buying the compilation digitally through Steam and the like; as with the retail compilation this is delivered as a standalone product--not DLC...

Fallout was a turn-based, isometric RPG that turned into a real-time, first-person RPG; the overall nature of the game remained the same. About all this X-COM seems to have in common with the original is that it's a game about shooting people.

This beta is for the PC. At the moment APB is only coming to the PC, although originally they intended a 360 version as well.

There are over 50 Pokemon games, and that's only if you count the paired releases as one game each (otherwise it's over 60). Only a very small number of these fall into the core series, however; most spin-offs have completely different gameplay and only share the overall theme of the franchise.

If it sells as poorly as it should, Ubisoft won't comprehend that the DRM was a factor; they will blame it on piracy.

lolcatz is correct; despite making many different series Mass Effect 3 will actually be the first time BioWare has made a third entry. Now that they are owned by EA and focussing on their own IPs (rather than licensed ones as with Baldur's Gate and KotOR) it's very likely that all current and future BioWare series will see at least three entries.

It is abundantly clear that this author didn't care to actually read the original article and merely skimmed the headers before churning out responses to the questions these headers seemed to imply.

For instance, the original article questions the usefulness of the "secretary" woman's verbal notifications--showing a picture of her and everything, making it very clear who and what is being described--but this author's response is to talk about the computer's functionalit...
