....it has some great titles. The 360 on the other hand has a few unannounced surprises i am sure. I really do not think that the PS3 will catch up in terms of console sales this year, but I think it may close the gap. Sony have everything they need to have an amazing year, but something will always go wrong, it always does, nothing ever goes to plan especially in the gaming industry. One things for sure if Killzone 2 lives up to the hype then Sony will be on the right track for a great year....

......God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 = two of my most anticipated titles EVER. As much as I love my 360, I have a feeling my PS3 is going to getting a lot of use over this year. I am really glad I own a PS3 for these titles. Killzone 2 (looks insanely good) and hopefully GT5 will make it in '09 and by god that is a massive line up of exclusives. On topic though, i cannot wait to see more from GOW3 and Uncharted 2. Good times ahead.
.....gets great reviews, sales will follow. I am sure this game will be fantastic, from a technical viewpoint, it looks astounding. From the MP beta I was in, it was great fun to play online. Single player storyline is my only slight concern.
I feel this game should start a change with the PS3 really starting to show what it can do, only heightened with '09's lineup. Follow it with a price cut and bam, hardware sales will increase a ridiculous amount.

....you should never underestimate the competition, and should ALWAYS keep an eye on what they are doing. If you don't, you get lazy and that is when out of nowhere you end up 8million consoles sales behind second place, and a heck of a lot more from first place.

Naughty dog never had a problem really, but its nice that now PS3 exclusives should start appearing more frequently and multi plat games are no longer ports. 2009 looks like it could be a fantastic year for the PS3 if everything goes right for Sony. Price drop with all these great exclusive games in '09 as well as heavy hitters like Bioshock 2 now multiplat and games being developed on PS3 seperately and no longer ...
