@Edgelordsupreme - medium runs no problem on SteamOS or on any other linux actually. Nearly all Steam games runs on linux.
It was advertised by MS as launch exclusive, so that's quite sure atm.
There are much more games doing that to extend, i.e. degrees of separation. Here, they do not render everything at the same time. They calculate whole geometry only once, for half screen resolution, and then apply different textures and lighting to existing wireframe. That is nice, but nothing difficult or crazy. And again, it is not what counts in this type of games - lets see if gameplay, story and so on will live up to expectations.
This product have proprietary industrial design.
Custom plates would have to look totally differently or licenced, otherwise it will be easy to win.
Its persona 5, with some dlc, but for price of a new game...
Whatever ms had it wasn't even remotely similar to sony ds offering.
They confirmed that rt ps5 drops is a bug. After scene is restarted the issue is no more, so no performance bottleneck but had coding. Patch will fix this.
Obviously ps5 is not weaker here. Comparing only tflops is simply stupid, is like comparing engine capacity - difference in capacity do not decide which is faster.
Good sense of humour.
I can't play sense of humour.
Please no.
That was enjoyable lecture.
Was playing quite a bit in genshin and you don't have to pay a fine to achieve everything this game have to offer. For f2p game that is really good, and i never felt i need to spend real cash.
A game in Beta state with no actual launch window scheduled yet is somehow launch lineup?
How mighty has fallen...
It will be oin beta on xsx initially, it is available for PC in alpha for some time now, check youtube.
Timed exclusive on xsx, I'd say.
I do enjoy it, strangely... It is really polished title, with nice story, good performance and with a lot of things to do and with very interesting mechanics. I thought it will be crap especially because they targeted mobile market, but they simply made a solid product.
Most of the money Sony is making is from third party software sold on their platform.
1 console is average 9 game sold
30% of nine games sold on release ($60) is $180 per console without any investment.
Horizon on Steam generates Sony around $30 income due to Steam tax.
1 person buying horizon on PC and skipping console is at least $150 loss.
Horizon sold on PS is 100% income going back to sony, vs 70 on Steam.
Add PS plus, ps ...
I don't mind any ports, but tbh I would so much more prefer Sony's studio to not waste time with conversion, but fully focus on new games. I think it was enormous waste of time and resources by Guerilla to allocate 80 devs for 3 years for stupid Death Stranding and engine transition. This time could be used so much better.
Hope ps5 well still be getting physical discs.
around 3.5 mln on ps4, so 1.5 on PC in last 7 months.
It is already cheaper than xbox extension:
WD_BLACK SN850 1TB NVMe 7000 MB/s - 165 pounds.
NVMe Expansion SSD for Xbox Series X|S(STJR1000400) 1TB: 180pounds (after discount)
It will be way cheaper in couple of months as more models are being released and we have solid competition, where proprietary solution MS used will keep the price high.
Sony come up with a standard, solid solution, and allow usage of a faster drive for lower price. ...
