PSVR isn't really for playing AAA games at all.
Its about creating amazing experiences that you can't get with just a console.
Some AAA titles may be suitable but the gaming element of PSVR isn't key to its success.
Except all those that love it.
It isn't completely bricked, I couldn't tell if the system froze or the controller stopped communicating. It turns out it was the controller.
I use a 3rd party wired controller, I now have to unplug it and plug it in again every 2-10 minutes (very annoying).
I paid £40+ for a Sony controller and after a couple of months the Bluetooth failed (same as my original controller), so I bought a wired one to eliminate the problem. It worked flawlessl...
5.5 has stopped my controller working or frozen the system, thanks Sony for your mandatory console breaker.
If you don't buy into the superfluous cash-ins from video game companies you have no reason to hate them.
Not being able to get a pair of overpriced shoes with PlayStation written on them isn't a hardship.
All I see are people saying "You prevented me from spending money and stupidly wasting it on something I don't need by making the item even more expensive, you b******D's."
If these people weren't gamers themselves...
Don't bring up Forza, that's just a game.
Utter rubbish, if I earned my racing license I'd be looking for the next local event the same day. Most people who are dedicated enough to earn it would want to do something with it.
@Artemidorus
It's sanctioned by the FIA, it is a real deal, real life racing license. You won't get it without displaying genuine skills and knowledge.
@Septic
"Real-life upgrade" is more accurate. This is by far the most significant add-on in gaming history.
First license is about racing lines, rules and theory etc. There will be scrutiny of driving style and it has been sanctioned by the FIA (World Motorsport governing body), screaming around bouncing off cars and trackside furniture won't get you licensed whatever your lap time.
You earn the license and It opens up the opportunity to gain real life racing experience.
Most licensed drivers spend a fortune on their hobby, pro drivers in a high profile racing series can earn millions, but most don't.
The original was one of my favourite PS3 games. Can't please everyone I suppose.
Amphetamines do much the same and are easily available.
If got no this maybe bester with PS4?
Welding requires skill without athleticism, maybe it should be an Olympic sport?
I'm stuck at rank 18 (level 51), keep getting close to 19, then lose a few in a row.
I'm still fine tuning my deck even now.
@Gangsta_red
If you were buying a console, would you buy;
A) the one with a huge user base and plenty of online opponents?
B) the one with fewer online players with more chance of games becoming useless?
Cross play would nullify that advantage entirely.
Do you understand now or do I have to simplify it further for you to grasp?
My PS4 is near silent. I suppose it depends on environmental factors (room size, furniture, temperature, humidity and airflow etc).
