Bad metaphor... It's nothing like coke vs pepsi. With PC gaming you are getting a lot more features for an extra cost. It's more like 6 pack of coke, vs 1 coke.

I was impressed by the multiplayer demo. Dedicated servers is what did it for me. Personally, in 2011+, I expect all games to have dedicated servers, it just adds to the experience a lot more.

Fantastic guide. My PC cost me $800 dollars and I will be able to run this game at max I believe. 560 Ti, core i5 2500k, 4gb DDR3 1600mhz, wasn't very expensive.

If you are going to get a new PC anytime soon, might as well invest an extra $200-300 and build a gaming PC.

P.S. Bubbles for being helpful.

I hope I get to hear a release date before I die.

Seems you are a bit slow with news. EA has removed all games from Steam. (and it appears steam removed some as well)

All EA games can now be purchased from EA origin, their new online store, just like steam. You can preorder battlefield 3 here.

People should always update their drivers. That is the key to game performance.

@Substance101

Very true my friend. Game Review websites give games higher scores then they are actually worth so they keep getting "free" copies of the games to reviews. For example, EA gives IGN dragon age, they give it a good score they get their hands of dragon age 2 early, if they smash it completely then EA will not give them dragon age 2 because they will talk shit about it and possibly interfere with sales.

PC games are very different, especi...

Google voice would be a bad choice because it is not useable outside the US.

I agree. Skype is crap too, it's bloated as hell. When people download software, they want the software for 1 reason. Skype is chat software and that is all, but it comes with all this crap people don't use and it just hogs ram and CPU power, it's bloated crap. Ventrillo on the other hand or Steam chat is simple and not bloated.

Knowing microsoft they will just make it worse. Look at MSN. It used to be simple, have you downloaded the latest one? It is horrible.

So sexist it isn't even funny. Well, maybe a little funny.

Compulsive idiots? If I had thousands of dollars invested into Sony and something bad happens I would pull out. Being a compulsive idiot would mean staying in the market. You know nothing of the stock market and probably have no major investments at all so don't even talk about stock holders.

Maybe not on N4G where everyone sucks Sony's dick. But in real life there are a lot of pissed off people.

I'm sure there are people working with Sony that are with a hacking group or anonymous. There are always "inside" people at every workplace, even at game studios like blizzard I am sure people there sell certain information to others.

Most of the N4G community don't understand. That is why they usually disregard articles like these. But it is true, evidence found that our accounts information was being held in text format which is really easy to acquire. Almost every single website these days uses hashed passwords which is much safer. Sony made a huge mistake, but we agreed to the ToS so I don't understand why people are suing them for it.

Sony could have prevented this but they left all account information in text format which is a huge mistake. Unfortunately everyone who signs up for PSN agrees to the terms that they can not sue sony if sony loses their information and credit cards, it's in there, deep, but it's still there.

I am pissed at Sony for not protecting my information well, and I am pissed at the hackers for taking that information. But I can't do anything about it so instead of doing so...

To everyone disagreeing above, he didn't call him a troll because he said PSN was down. He called him a troll because he mentioned he is getting the game for PS3. The fact that this is an xbox 360 article means that there is no need for input from PS3 fans.

I have to disagree. Valve should not make a console because with a console comes great responsibility such as 1st party developers, online servers, warranty, shipping, etc etc. Not only this but Valve's own games will because exclusive to their console and people will miss out.

They are already making millions with steam and Gabe is the richest person in the video game industry he doesn't need any more money haha.

Fun fact: Write to Gabe via email and...

I disagree. Unlike Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft use HASHED passwords. Which is why it was so easy to hack so many users on PSN.
