I agree that the beginning of U3 wasn't as exciting as U2's beginning. But was it meant to be? Uncharted 1 started with a simple conversation between Sully, Nate and Elena. And that was a good beginning too. They dont need to be exciting and action pacled to be good introductions.
I'm not afraid to admit I liked U2 more than U3. But I wouldn't call U3 worthy of only a 3/5. The only problem I had was with some glitches (did anyone else have the problem of the...
Aww I really liked MGS2. A lot of people say its the worst in the series but I think it had just as many amazing moments as other MGS games. I didn't even mind Raiden as the main character (though I could have done without the constant codec calls from Rose)
She's gorgeous.
Why not? Men like sexy women, women like sexy men. I'm surprised developers haven't jumped on that yet.
"Want to get your hands on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City before anyone else? "
No thanks.
Finally!
They sound about the same to me.
I think the song itself is pretty mediocre and both singers have done their best with what they were given.
I miss the days of Eyes on Me or 1000 Words. They were actually good songs with good English versions. Square just doesn't seem to care anymore :-(
Fans ask for REmake to be ported to PS3 and 360. Capcom ports Umbrella Chronicles instead.
Fans ask for RE2 and RE3 to be remade. Capcom makes Wii rail shooters instead.
Fans want the series to return to its survival horror roots. Capcom approves a spin-off title with more action than before.
I'm senseing a trend here
Quit being a buthurt fanboy and accept that not everybody is going to find Uncharted 3 a perfect 9/10 or 10/10 experience.
Beast_Master: "I like the bait, give the game an average score but say nothing but great things about it. Not falling for it this time."
Bait? The guy clearly says what he likes and doesnt like about the game. I don't agree with some of his opinions personally, but it doesn't mean he's trolling for hits just because he thought the game was worth 8/10.
Feel free to disagree with the score, but if you haven't read it then don't make assu...
Such an underrated game.
I can't believe this series hasnt been revived yet
"His Sony credentials are on his account..so its definetly not a personal account."
His Sony "credentials"? All he has written is his job description. Which makes it easy for fans or followers to identify him on twitter.
That's like me writing "Gamestop employee" on my twitter. That wouldn't make my twitter an official Gamestop account.
It depends. If it was on Kaz Hirai's personal twitter then he probably wouldn't be speaking for Sony in that case. He would just be tweeting his own thoughts.
Sort of like Hideo Kojima's twitter... Sometime he updates his twitter with actual Konami news, but most of the time they are just personal tweets about his life or messages to his fans.
Wow talk about a misleading title. One man's tweeting does not represent an entire company's opinion. This is like me tweeting "I like pasta" and then someone writing an article with the title "Gamestop likes pasta" just because I'm a Gamestop employee.
I must admit...I do wish the Uncharted games were longer. I always get to the end and think 'aww I want more!'
@lorianguy:
You would be surprised. I've seen plenty of people who think Uncharted is either OK or just bad. One of my friends doesn't like the series because he isn't into story based games and isn't a fan of adventure titles.
Different strokes for different folks.
If you're going to write a controversial review, at least bother to explain yourself. All I got from the review was that it has an awesome story and apparently the reviewe sucks at playing the game.
You think the controls are archaic? EXPLAIN WHY.
You think the series is overrated? EXPLAIN WHY.
I haven't played U3 yet but after reading this review I know nothing new about the game. And that isnt a good thing.
Drake has more charm in his pinkie finger than Matt Damon has in his entire body
The game is rated M15 in Australia so I can see why they mentioned it. Perhaps their opinion might be a bit nitpicky because of the current R18+ rating issue in Australia, but there are still politicians trying to get the 18+ rating banned again so high profile games like this will be scrutinized and torn apart for things like the purple doldo and the beating or civillians. So yeah I can see why they might have felt uncomfortable playing it as an M15 rated game.
